We had set camp in another small fire nation town. We set camp on a mountain in the woods. I had made a fire and we told scary stories.

"So do you have any scary stories?" Toph asked me.

"Well that depends do you like realistic ones or fake one's" I asked.

"Does it matter I just want to hear a scary story" Toph said.

"Okay okay I'll tell you one from my place Mexico it might not be scary but it used to scare me as a kid in order for my parents to get me in to bed" I said.

"I hope it's good" Toph said.

"Im only telling the sorta scary one's you wouldn't handle the real scary one's" I said.

"Can you just tell the story" Aang said hurring me.

"Okay when I was little my mom used to scare me with a monster named El Cucuy it was a monster that came at night scareing little kids if you disobeyed you're parents or didn't listen but it would scare me good" I said.

"No offense but I liked the man with a hook hand better" Aang said.

"Fine you want scary I didn't want to go there but okay" I said shakeing my head.

"Okay this is a tale from my home Mexico and a true legend its about a woman called the Llorona" I said.

"Sounds creepy I think I'll like this" Toph said.

"This woman was the most beatiful woman in her small village, every man wanted to marry her but only one man married this beautiful lady. He was a man from a diffrent place with diffrent ways that she loved. A few years later she had two kids a boy and a girl and she was left to take care of them while her husband was out fighting in the war. One day she was informed that her husband had died in the war andshe cried day and night makeing her look horrible and no longer beautiful. She wept day and night still takeing care of her children. Then one day she went down to the river to wash cloths. The beautiful smart lady was now a old sad crazy wepping woman. At the lake she was completely crazy she told her children to play in the water then she snuck behind them chokeing and drowning them in the lake to die. Then she drowned herself in sorrow while she cried. They say never to camp near a river because she comes out at night weeping and crying still looking for her children and you hear her little cries "mis ninos mis ninos" is what she says still in search of her kids and when she finds you, you drown to death never seen again" I said and saw them all huddled together.

"Well you won't completely die I heard and saw her gohst once but this necklace kept me safe from harm and one prayer made her run away or burn" I said holding my golden 3d cross.

"You saw her before?" Aang asked.

"Sorta we thought it was just a legend and I never belived in gohsts we were camping by a river and telling the story at three in the morning we were all in the tent and we heard her cries thinking it was our uncle but when me and my cousin went to go see it was a white shadow in the dark crying. I ran inside and saw her shadow moveing the tent trying to move it inside the water but my big cousin put the cross on the tent and she left" I explained.

"Yea im sure it was a gohst" Sokka said not impressed.

"Sokka supernatural things are real in my world witches especially in my home land if you're not baptised in the way of my cathloicism or christianity as a baby you die the witches suck on baby blood killing it you're lucky you don't live in my world we would have never meet each other because Aang wouldn't be an avatar or have bending powers" I said.
