I woke up, a dark blue shawl covering me. "Hey" Vik sat next to me, shoving some water bottles into his bag. "What time is it?" "If I had to guess, about nine AM. How were your dreams? Any new information?" "Besides the myth of Icarus and a surprise visit from Helios, no. I think my dad finally got the message" Viktor sighed. "You've already heard it, but you 're pretty lucky. Thalia's got Zeus for a dad, and Percy's got Poseidon, you got Hades. Out of the Big Three, I'd take Hades over his brothers any day" I groaned. "He's not your dad, though" "Yep, my dad was just a manipulative and abusive ass, no biggie" "Vik-" "Lilly, I'm fine. I promise" 'I'm fine', my foot. "Where're the others?" "Waiting for you. Grover's found a half-blood; it might be Nico" I leapt out from under the shawl. "What are we waiting for then? Let's go!" "Lilly! Wait up!" Viktor yelled, chasing after me.
Grover led us to a farm of sorts, or at least, what I imagine a farm looks like. (What, I've never seen a farm before. Sue me!) "Do you hear that?" Percy hissed, concerned. I heard it. The distant baying of dogs. "Stay behind me" I said, grabbing my swords. The sound got louder, and the underbrush rustled. A two headed dog came snarling out of it, charging towards us. "Orthus!" Viktor yelled. "WHO?" "The brother of Cerberus, son of Echidna and Typhon. Heracles met him, which means-" A tall man lumbered out from behind the underbrush. "Eurytion" Eurytion had stark white hair and a braided white beard. He wore a cowboy hat, a DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS T-shirt, and jeans and a denim jacket with ripped sleeves. "Again, I ask, WHO?" "Eurytion, Son of Ares. If I'm right, he accepted immortality when Ares offered it. With the two of them here, this means we're at Geryon's ranch" Eurytion studied me. "I know you. You're that girl who killed my old man, right?" "Twice, but yes. Lilly Black" "Eurytion, but you already knew that. What are you lot doing here?" "Having tea, what do you think? We're on a quest" "Why'd you come through here, then?" "Why not? If you're not with Kronos or Luke, then- Aw, shit" "What?" "Geryon's got a deal with Kronos, doesn't he?" Eurytion took a few steps back. "How do you know that?" "When I said that, your lip twitched, and you started fiddling with your club. It wasn't that hard" Eurytion sighed. "You got me. I'll need to bring you to him, though" "Depends. Are any other half-bloods here?" "One. A boy with dark hair, about ten" "Nico" "Who?" "Never mind. Bring us to Geryon."
Geryon sat on the porch of his weird little shack. He had three bodies, three heads, tiny black moustaches, and way too six-legged jeans and three different colored shirts. A small boy sat next to him. He had messy black hair and pale skin with dark brown eyes. He wore an aviator's jacket, a skull t-shirt, and black pants. "Nico" I whispered. Nico looked up and noticed Percy. The hatred that radiated off of him was bizarre. "Nico, I-" "Don't talk to me!" Nico shouted. "Nico, I don't want to talk to you anymore than you want to talk to me. But there is someone else who'd like to. Remember Lilly?" Nico calmed down a bit. "Is... is she here?" "Nico" Nico looked at me. "Lilly" I grabbed Viktor's hand. He squeezed it. "Nico, what are you doing here?" "Well, isn't that obvious, darling?" Geryon said. "He came through the Labyrinth, same as you-" Viktor's sword was inches away from his throat. "Don't call her darling, you overgrown cow" Geryon laughed. "What, is she your lady, mortal?" Nico looked from me to Viktor. "Are you dating?" "No, Nico. I can explain later. Just stay with Percy-" "I don't want to stay with him!" Nico yelled. "He killed my sister. He wants to kill me, too" "Nico, listen to me" I growled. Nico flinched. I sighed. "Just... stay near them, okay? Please" Nico nodded. "Good. Viktor, don't kill him" "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't" "He's working with Kronos. If Luke and his armies come here now for their delivery, we're screwed. Don't kill him" Viktor pulled his sword away. Geryon smiled. "Wise choice, Lilly Black. But the wrong one" Geryon grabbed three swords and held one in his mouth. "You have two choices. Do as I say and maybe you live, or die right here." I swung my swords, but Viktor stepped in front of me. "Then let's dance, Geryon. I'm going to kick your giant cow ass."
That fight was... interesting, to say the least.
Viktor had Geryon in a choke hold, and Geryon had one of his swords piercing Viktor's bad leg. "Give up yet, mortal?" "I could do this all day" "Let's stop quoting Marvel and get on with kicking the giants butt, okay Viktor?" I shouted, annoyed. "On it!" Viktor yelled, stabbing his sword into Geryon's stomach. Geryon dropped his swords and fell to the ground. Viktor yanked Geryon's sword out of his leg and tossed it to the side. "Now, either give us a way out of here, or I'm going to let Lilly go crazy" He grabbed Geryon by the ear. "And fair warning, I've seen her dismember her own cousin. I suggest you talk quickly."
