MAYA'S POV ✨

"AARGG Raveen! Raveen! FUCKING RAVEEN!" I yelled, pacing my room, nearly losing my shit. "I can't believe that girl... who does she think she is, coming here at 2 a.m.?"

"Yo, calm the hell down. Don’t let her ruin everything," Alice said, walking over and pulling me into a hug. She ran her fingers through my scalp, making me relax a little.

"Mmhh, that feels so good," I murmured, feeling the tension in my body ease as she placed her chin on top of my head.

"But why does she have to say all that shit?" I continued, fuming. "I mean—"

"Ay, enough," Alice interrupted, pulling me back so we were making eye contact. "You shouldn't let her get to you." She pointed to her head with her finger. "She's drunk and not okay right now. She's bonkers."

I sighed, my frustration still simmering. "I just... don't get it."

Alice gently turned me around, pushing my shoulders towards the bed. "Let's get some sleep. We've both got a long day ahead."

"Want to smoke a little? You know, for the good sleep?" I nudged her with my elbow.

"Nah, I'm good," she said, rubbing my thigh before getting up to grab the remote. She switched the TV to Rick and Morty.

"You coming?" she asked, patting the space next to her.

"As soon as I find my ashtray," I said, getting up to look for it.

We both searched the room, but Alice was the one who found it on the carpet near the foot of the nightstand.

"Here," she said, handing it to me and setting it ahead of her on the bed.

I climbed in next to her, and we dimmed the lights, starting the show. I took the ashtray, dropped the roach inside, and handed it back to her. She placed it on the nightstand before pulling me closer.

Her body was warm, and her soft, big boobs were the perfect pillow. I melted into her arms, feeling safe and cozy. I ended up dozing off halfway through the episode.

"Sorry," I mumbled, my voice all sleepy. I tried to stay awake, but the combination of being high and tired had me drifting off.

"No, I think it’s cute," Alice said, turning off the TV. She adjusted her body so we could sleep, pulling me even closer. "It's cute how you fell asleep but kept blinking and moving like you were trying to stay awake."

"See you in Dreamworld?" she asked in a sleepy tone, pulling me tighter against her chest.

"Mm-hmm," I hummed, already halfway to sleep.

...

I woke up to a loud alarm from Alice’s phone. She tossed it aside, grumbling in her sleep and pulling me closer by my waist when I tried to move.

I shook her awake. "Good morning again," she said, her eyes half-open. Her long lashes made her look like a sleepy little baby.

"AaHHH!" I groaned, blowing my morning breath on her before running off to the bathroom.

"Omfg," I heard her say dramatically, "I see the light," she teased, falling off the bed. Then she got up and followed me to the bathroom, where we brushed our teeth together.

"You’re so dramatic," I said, spitting into the sink.

"Have you seen you?" she shot back, finishing up.

"Bitch, please," I said, shoving her lightly as I made my way back to the room.

"So, I’m going to lay out our clothes. You go shower," she said, heading toward her duffle bag.
