Duncan's POV:

I never liked those dumb fairytales like how love at first sight was an actual thing. I thought it was just so stupid. But that Courtney chick... she's got something that makes me go wild.. it's honestly scary how she is. She just gives this vibe that I can't explain. Courtney seems like one of those girls who do anything to get her opinion heard.

Plus, it's not like falling in love with her because I'm not into chicks like her. Never. Keep my words. Otherwise, I did call her princess. She already seems like an entitled brat and her eyes are like pools of coffee... and her brown hair. Her smile is pretty cute.

Did I just compliment her?

"What do you want? Why'd you call me princess?" I hear the brown haired girl question me.

"Oh sorry, I can't get to know the new girl?" I grin and chuckle.

She groans and rolls her eyes. "I have to get to class," She crosses her arms and looks at me.

"Well, I mean your kinda late already..." Then the bell rings.

She looks at me with a stern look. Oh shit...

"Are you kidding me?!? I need to get to class!! I am already late. Why am I still talking to you... what am I doing!!!" She shouts and starts walking off.

"Well since you're late, let's go skip." I smirk and shrug.

She turns around fast and looks at me. I stop smirking and look at her back.

"Skip?" She says walking closer to me.

Am I supposed to be scared.. I think to myself. She's a feisty one.

"I don't think skipping is bad, princess," I state.

"Duncan... did you go to daycare?" She asks me with a concern look.

"Yeah? What about it?" I reply with a questioning look.

"It's Courtney," She says slow like I'm a child.

Courtney? Am I supposed to know her? Is this a trick question..

"Courtney?? I am not sure whatchu mean, princess?"

I obviously reply with because how am I supposed to remember names from I have no idea many years ago?

Oh..

I look at the brown haired girl and she looks back at me. It's Courtney..
