Courtney's POV:

I absolutely adore fairytales as long as the women of the story is a role model to others young females in the world. I would love to be saved by my Prince Charming! I get it, this sounds like a little kid dream but honestly, I would love a beautiful white wedding with swans and a white horse! Yet, I never met my Prince Charming. Not yet. The word princess is a name I've been called before yet I don't exactly remember by who. Then when Duncan called me a princess, I FREAKED!! Me? A princess? Obviously but I wouldn't want the school's delinquent to call me a princess? I mean, would I?

Either way, it's not like I'm falling for the boy! He's just ugh. I am not into guys like HIM. Mark and keep my words. He's so annoyingly cute and he gives a vibe that I can't ever describe.. he's like a drug that I can't get enough of!

Did I just compliment him?

"Oh sorry, I can't get to know the new girl?" I hear the boy say. Hate being titled as the "new girl." We talk a bit longer then the bell rings.

Well screw my life.

He really thought he was slick with the you-are-already-late move! I was but you know... I wouldn't hate to get to know the delinquent a bit more.. While he was looking at me, I recognized his eyes and it reminded me of a kid. The whole person just reminded me of... Duncan.. I obviously did ask him if he went to daycare. Looks like he did and I had to reintroduce myself. He looked at me with a shocked face.

"Well isn't my princess?" He said all smirking.

"How did I not remember you?" I asked him.

"That seems more of a Courtney question," He grins. That smile..

"Oh, you just can't stand me, can you?" He looks at me and crosses his arms.

"I can stand you. I can't believe of how much the same you are," I chuckle and put my hands on my waist.

"Cmon, let's skip. I'll tell you everything you missed," He says.

Should I leave with him? Should I stay??

"Let's go. I guess because I need a recap," I reply.

As we sneak out of the school, we walk on the sidewalk. I stood on the inside sidewalk and he stood on the outside.

Such good manners..

We walk to this local coffee shop that was named, "C&C's Brew," which it looked appealing I guess. We walked in and there was about 7 people in there doing work on the computer or reading a book or even talking to another person. Duncan pulled out a chair for me and I sat down. He pushed me and then walked around to go sit in his seat.

Okay... another point for pros..

He looked at me and smiled.

Awkward!

"So what do you wanna know?" He asked me like I knew what I wanted TO TALK ABOUT.

"Oh um.. so-" I got cut off by a black haired girl with teal streaks.

"Welcome to Chris and Chef's Brew! Have we figured out what we would like?" She asked us.

Duncan stopped and looked at her with a weird glance.

"Oh.. um..." He stutters.

"Oh it's you. Hi to you to Duncan. Who's this new chick your seeing now?" She asks him with a serious face.

Who the hell is she??

"Hi Gwen. It's nice to see you! How's life? The chick's name is Courtney. She's not very so new to BridgeWood, where you should be at instead of working," He replied with a stern look and he avoided her gaze.

Some shit is about.to.go.down.

"Ahh, always a pleasure Duncan. It's called being independent and making money instead of laying around being lazy all day," She crossed her arms.

"And hey Courtney. I'm Gwen Ingrid and I also go to BridgeWood. I've known Duncan since daycare and we dated in like 6th-8th. Nothing really big," she looked at me and smiled.

DATED? 6TH THROUGH 8TH?

"Courtney knows who you are, I am sure. She was in daycare with us stupid," Duncan hisses.

"Oh. MY. GOSH!!??" She exclaimed in happiness.

Am I supposed to know her?

"Courtney, this is Gwen. The goth loner? The one with pigtails?" Duncan stated.

Oh. MY. GOSH?

"Gwen!?? Oh my goshhhh!!!" I exclaim.

I stood up and hugged her and she hugged me.

Should I be hugging the ex of the guy I'm hanging out with?

"Court!! It's so good to see you again.. how's life! When did you move here? Why did you move away from daycare in the first place?"
She sat down next to Duncan and looked at me, smiling.

The questions..

"It's amazing to see you too. Life's.. okay. I moved here about a week ago. I moved away because...." I say, trailing away.

Do I want to relive it?
