"Leon what are you doing, you can't just run in and rescue Roywn!" exclaims Parodona. Leon scrambles around the room throwing items into a bag. Parodona grabs his pack and looks into it, "Hey where are you putting these items? There isn't anything in here."
Leon looks at her while he grabs two loaves of bread, "It's a magic bag I got from the people who took care of me when I was a kid. I've never let it go since then."
Parodona sighs, "You cannot just abandon our mission and travel to the council! We need to get to them as soon as we can!"
Leon throws the bag down and storms to her getting up close. "What is with you huh? You've been switching up ever since we found you. Last night you didn't want to even go to the council of men!" shouts Leon.
Parodona shakes a little, "Well I changed my mind. Roywn will be fine-." she whispers. Leon growls as he picks up his bag, "No one just changes their mind like that Parodona! What do you know about Rowyn? I can't lose him he's been here for me since!-" he stops talking and moving.
Parodona goes up to him and hugs him from behind, "You don't have to explain anymore. If it was my family I would drop everything and rescue them too. So, where do we go?"
Leon strapped his belt and sword to his waist, "I believe they brought him to a cave in the mountain range beyond the forest. They call it Kopla Gonday in the Unisaki, in the human language it translates to Death to Stone."
Parodona eyes widen, "Wait a minute you're talking about the Manshvana. You're kidding I thought that place was a myth." she mutters as her fingers start to shake.
Leon walks towards the doorway of the cave, "Parodona it's not a myth I can assure you. It is going to be dangerous and it is going to be insanely difficult. Are you sure you want to come? If you don't you can stay here for the night. If you do. well grab your dagger and let's go." he says in her direction, the sound echoing throughout the cave.
Parodona stands up and grins as she grabs her blue blade, "So when are we leaving Mystic Magic?"
Leon looks at her irritated, 'First of all stop calling me that, second of all we leave right now so let's get a move on fish girl." Parodona smacks him on the shoulder, "Leon in with bite huh? Alright, let's head out.
They walk into the forest and start along a clear concise trail. Leon looks at her as she walks beside him gazing at the trees with a starstruck expression. She looks over and he immediately looks to the opposite side while he hears her laugh.
Leon spots a red bush full of barbed thorns. He jogs over to it and picks off a small object which seems to be a berry of some kind. Parodona walking towards him suddenly grabs one out of the air, "Leon don't throw things at me unexpectedly okay? Besides what even is this?"
Leon glances at her grinning, "Cherries Parodona, but not normal cherries. They're called Thyracial Cherries, and just one of them can fill up your stomach, although they have a bitter taste hence them being avoided."
Parodona is dismayed, "I've never heard of cherries before, we don't have them in Ocinia. Not even in the Kingdom of Licher."
Leon abruptly looks at her with curiosity, "Ocinia? I've never heard of that place. Where is it located? Is it the place you were born and came from when we found you?"
Parodona stops walking. Looking away she looks into the dense ceiling of the forest, "Yes that is my hometown, I have not left that place since I was born. It's located on the eastern shore of Palria where you found me and it is also where the Moysar attacked me. The memories still have not stopped dwelling in my mind." she mutters quietly.
Leon walks up behind her getting close to her ear, "You said it's located on the eastern shore of the Palria Sea where we found you. However, the Kingdom of Licher is located on the farthest western shore of the world. That would be a year's journey and I know no ordinary citizen of the seatra would travel that far."
Parodona backs away beaming with an evasive but stunning smile, her blue skin shining in the sun. "I guess we both have secrets then, don't we? I'm sure we won't be with each other long enough to pry into each other's affairs even further," she says.
Walking back towards Leon she giggles and continues treading the path. Leon sighs as he persists after her juggling Thyracial Cherries.
Two days have passed since Leon and Parodona went into the forest towards Kopla Gonday. Both of them sitting at a campfire full of red flame, heating them on the cold night. Leon looks at the mountain pass in front of him with hypervigilant eyes.
Turning to Parodona who is roasting meat, the juicy savory kind that stems from feathery round animals Kilopo. He grasps a stick and bites a piece off, then sets it back down, "Put the fire out, it's time to go in we've waited long enough."
Parodona picks up a bucket full of water they brought for the trip and dumps it over the fire.
Leon and Parodona stand at the threshold of the dark stone passage, "Let's go get our friend Fish Girl" he announces.
Parodona smiles determined, "Let's go Mystic Magic!"
