Gents VS Lads (R&R Connection)

Chapter 15 (Ending 1)

-3rd POV-

"Good luck to you both. LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!" The announcer said.

The two men took their battle stances and waited for bell to sound to officially start the fight. The second it did their swords collided. Sparks were came off their swords every time they hit. Both men have small cuts here and there from the other man's sword but nothing major, nothing that can kill.

Finally Ray left enough time has passed that the audience is satisfied with the fight, and there teammates are worried, so he starts to leave himself open a bit but doesn't make it to notice able. Ryan understood what Ray was doing and did the same remembering what Ray told him.

"What is Ryan doing, he has had plenty of opportunity to kill him!" Geoff whispered to Jack even though they didn't need to whisper.

"I don't know. I don't like this. Before Ryan went into the ring, after I said I love him, all he said was 'I know.' No, I love you too or a kiss. Something is wrong and I don't like it."

'Okay, this is it. It's literally do or die time. Every movement is very important. Alright, here goes nothing.' Ray thought. Just then, Ray went in to 'swing is sword' at Ryan in a way that would kill him but, his sword in the wrong hand. Instead, Ray placed his hand on Ryan cheek and pulled him into a kiss dropping his sword. Ryan melted into the kiss as he dropped his sword as well placing both hands around Ray's waist pulling him closer Ray wrapped his hands around Ryan's neck. Jack who is totally not okay with this grabs his sword and walks out into the ring full of anger, pulls the two men apart and stabs his sword through Ray's stomach, and pulled it back out again. Although they are wearing armor, the armor for Thunder Dome is different. It allows a sword to be able to penetrate it very easily allowing the players to be killed, since that is the point of the challenge.

"RAY!" Ryan screamed and fell to his side. "Ray, come on stay with me. Don't leave me please please don't leave me. I love you Ray. Don't don't leave." Ryan said crying.

"Hey... it's okay..... I love you....." was all Ray could say before he passed away from blood loss.

"LOOK WHAT YOU DID JACK! THIS IS ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT!" Ryan screamed while picking up his sword. "I LOVE HIM! AND YOU JUST KILLED HIM! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU! HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME!?"

"Your my boyfriend not his! We have a future together and that stupid Lad was ruining it!"

"NO I'M NOT! I DON'T LOVE YOU! I LOVE RAY! YOU'RE A SICK BASTERED! YOU DESERVE TO BE DEAD MORE THAN RAY DOES!" Ryan said and stabbed Jack in the heart with his sword several times making sure that he dies.

The still crying Ryan made his way back over to Ray and placed a kiss in his lips before killing himself. He didn't want and felt he couldn't live in a world without Ray in it.

Geoff, Michael and Gavin soon made their way onto the field. Michael and Gavin knelled down by Ray crying and Geoff walked between Jack and Ryan also crying.

After a few minutes both teams was declared winners seeing as no one wanted to fight and Team Lads wouldn't take the win - since Team Lads had more team members alive they technically won.

"Its Michael and Gavin right?" Geoff said walking over to them.

"Yeah." Michael said. Gavin nodded.

"I'm sorry, about Ray. I tried to stop Jack but obviously that didn't work." Geoff said. "Well uhm, I was thinking we should probably have their bodies buried next to each other, and I'll bury Jack far from them."

"I think they would like that."

"Geoff..." Gavin said.

"Yeah Gavin?"

"How about the three of make a new Team, and rise to the top again. I don't think Ray would want us to stop competing as long we are careful. I don't know about Ryan or Jack, though. Do you think they would like that?"

"Yeah. I think they would. That is a great idea."

Fifteen years has passed and the team Michael, Gavin and Geoff created are at the top, and will remain there even though they are now retired. They got to the top in about a year, and have stayed there for ten years. The people of the city all agreed that they will always be the best team, so there name was added to the score board right under two name that are next to each other, Team Gents and Team Lads. The legacy of Team Lads and Gents still live on. That day was added to the history books in schools, made into books with the help and approval of three men. All of which are very happy with their lives. Geoff and Griffon had two kids, one boy and one girl three years part. The older child, the boy, has blond hair and blue eyes like Griffon and so they named him Ryan, Geoff left like he kind of looked like him. The younger child, the girl, is named Shannon after Jack - his middle name is Shannon. Michael and Gavin got married not long after Thunder Dome. Recently they adopted a little boy. He has dark hair, black glasses, and loves video games. They renamed him Ray. He is same age Ryan.
