Welcome To Jade Mountain! (Part 1)

Julian awoke with a massive headache. Where am I?  He thought. He was in a cave that had lots of paintings. Lots of paintings. They were mostly paintings of dragons but a few were paintings of scenery like the forest or the desert. What happened to me? He thought. Then remembered suddenly as he tried to get up but his left wing was in pain. He howled in pain and quickly sat back down. Just then someone opened the door. It was a yellow sun looking dragon and then Julian suddenly remembered where he was at.

"You're finally awake!," The yellow dragon said as she rushed over to Julian.

"Yeah, I guess I am," Julian chuckled. "How long was I out for?"

"Only for a couple of hours," said the yellow dragon. "If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" 

"My name..." Julian stopped with a confused expression as he tried to remember what his dragon name was. He then remembered his conversation with Skyfire and then said "Moonshadow". 

"That's a cool name!" The dragon replied. "My name is Sunny,"

Julian's jaw dropped in disbelief. No way! It's one of the Dragonet's of Destiny!!! He thought with excitement. 

His excitement must have been very noticeable because Sunny asked him "Are you okay?"

"Oh, yeah sorry I was just thinking," Julian said. He was trying not to get too nervous now figuring out who she was. He then caught her eyeing him suspiciously. 

"Well Moonshadow, Welcome to Jade Mountain!" Sunny said excitedly. 

"Thanks!" Julian said. "Is there anyway I can enroll and start taking classes here?"

"Yes, Just talk to Fatespeaker when your wing is fully healed," Sunny said. "You will have to wait here for a couple of hours. That fall really did some damage on your wing," 

Julian nodded. A little disappointed that he had to wait here for a couple of hours. Just then Sunny got up and left. She said goodbye to him and waved her wing. Now what do I do? His mind thought. He wanted to leave and explore the cave. Do it now. The voice in his mind said. But Sunny said not to leave? Julian thought back. So? Sunny's not here now... What's a little rule breaking?  I am not leaving. What if my wing get's damaged more? Julian said. It won't, trust me. Just take a look around the cave! For the entertainment! You say you are bored so why not make things more exiting! The voice said. Plus it's the weekend, no one is out except the dragonets of destiny. Don't you want to meet them? The voice said in a convincing tone. 

Julian got up and surprisingly his wing didn't hurt anymore. He got up and opened the door. His jaw dropped. Jade mountain was huge! There were rooms everywhere. Scrolls as well. He walked down the great all and was amazed at everything he saw. It was extremely empty. Julian remembered that it was the weekend and no one was here. He decided to go snooping around the rooms and overheard a conversation between two dragons.

No way! It's Tsunami! His mind thought as he crept closer and closer to hear the conversation. It was about him

"I think the Jade Winglet would be a good fit for him!!," Sunny exclaimed. "Yes they already have a nightwing but I think he will get along with them just fine!"

"Uhhhhh fine I guess I will have to make winglet adjustments," Tsunami said. "He can stay in the sleeping cave with Qibli and Winter,"

Julian's heart jumped and got exited. Yes! I can stay with Winter and Qibli!  He thought with excitement. He jumped but then quickly realized he shouldn't have as he fell down and made a loud thud. 

Tsunami and Sunny both quickly stopped talking and walked over to the spot where they heard the sound from. Julian heard their footstep's get closer and closer and closer.....

Just then Sunny opened the door and screamed. 

"Oh, it's just Moonshadow," She said. "Wait Moonshadow?? I thought you were hurt?"

"Oh, ummm I'm better?" Julian said.

"Right.... anyways meet Tsunami!" Sunny announced as she was pointing to a blue seawing which he already guessed was Tsunami from overhearing their conversation. 

The blue seawing gave a polite wave. "Hello!" she said

"Hi," was all Julian could get out. He didn't know why he was so nervous talking to a literal fictional character. Oh they are not fictional anymore.... The voice in Julian's head said. Just then Tsunami spoke to break the awkward silence. 

"Are you interested in joining Jade Mountain?" She asked. "We already have a winglet and a cave picked out for you,"

"Yes! That is the reason why I came here in the first place," He said in a probably rude tone judging by the way Tsunami was looking at him.

"Well then, since nobody is here yet let me show you to your sleeping cave," She said as she lead him through the halls of Jade Mountain. He was still in disbelief that he was actually here. He walked in the room exited to see his sleeping cave. 

"Sorry if it's a mess," Tsunami said. "You will be sharing this cave with two dragons named Qibli and Winter. One is an icewing and the other is a sandwing," She explained.

"I'm exited to meet them!" Julian replied with a smile on his face. 

"Well if you ever need anything, just let me or Sunny know." Tsunami said. "See you around Moonshadow,"

Then she walked away. Julian walked inside his cave and immediately knew which side was Winter's and which side was Qibli's. Winter's side had a painting on the wall which Julian assumed it was of Queen Glacier. Meanwhile Qibli's side was more of a mess. His bed sheets were on the ground and there was sand everywhere. Then Julian walked over to where the third bed was which he only assumed it was his. Or Umbers. his brain thought. Umber isn't at jade mountain anymore. Not after what happened between Icicle and Sora. The voice in Julian's head said. This made Julian question everything even more. 

So did Winter leave already? Did the jade winglet go out looking for Darksalker? Oh wait, Darkstalker isn't in this timeline. A million questions flooded Julian's head at once. Then the voice said Winter is still here, he never went missing yet... What do you mean yet? Julian said in his head. You will find out soon enough... Then the voice disappeared. Julian cursed in his mind as he went to lay down in his bed. It was extremely comfy. I think I am just going to take a nap. I had a very busy day today. Just then he let sleep take over him.
