Y/N's head hurt. Trying to process everything she just learned knowing that they kept track of when they were very first sent into this simulation. If that's what they could call it. She feared for how long had past and what the outside world would look like when they broke free. If there even was a way to break free. The only way out seemed to be.

No.

She didn't want to think of that. Think like that.

"Uh guys I'm starting to figure out how the hell we're going to get out of this thing."

All their heads turned to her as they all thought the same thing. Eventually Tommy spoke. "Do you think Will and Ranboo are out there? I mean in the real world fighting for us to get woken up?"

Y/N hoped they were. She hoped that the same demise didn't meet them in the real world as it did here. Her eyes closed for a second trying to remember anything. Anything to help them out of this, out of here. But she couldn't. Footsteps approached the door as panic rose in her body. They were about to get caught, they had to be. Quickly the group dressed themselves appropriately as Charlie and Tommy exited the room after making sure there was nobody and began taking Phil and Y/N down to the cells. Of course it had to be this way. She hated this she just wanted to get this done and over with now. Not have to deal with being locked in a cell again waiting for the time to come. But it had to be done for their plan to work. As the group finished working on their plan Y/N and Phil were put into their cells for the time being. Tommy and Charlie on the other hand had to act as if they were guards around the compound. It wasn't easy for them until they got called back into the office. Charlie was told to go grab Y/N from the holding cells and they still had to keep Phil in the other. But with due time they would get their plan in motion.

Hours past. Y/N and Phil were growing tired and they nearly fell asleep until the cell door was flung open in a rage of anger.

"GET UP!" One of the guards kicked Y/N's leg as she hissed in pain and rubbed her eyes a bit. Immediately she noticed that Phil wasn't in the cell with her anymore. Panic set in as she grumbled under her breath.

"W—where's Phil?"

"He was taken care of. Now come on. Your father is waiting for you."

"NO YOU TELL ME WHERE PHIL IS RIGHT NOW!"

"I already told you he was taken care of. Dealt with."

"SO WHAT YOU SICK PEOPLE KILLED HIM?"

A scoff left the guards lips as they grabbed hold of Y/N's handcuffs. Leaning in to her face. "YOU DON'T MAKE THE RULES AROUND HERE. NOW LETS GO!"

Y/N didn't have any fight in her. She knew that if they killed Phil she would get revenge for him as well. She hated the idea of losing everyone she cared for, but that meant that Phil was also on the outside world now. That he was safe, whatever safe was anymore. She didn't know what was to come, especially if Phil actually was dead. Was their plan still the same?

The guard pulled her from the cell and shut the door with a loud clank. Footsteps echoed in the empty hall as they walked to her father's office. Y/N was no where near prepared to face her father, but she had to be, for Ranboo and Wilbur, and maybe even Phil now. Taking a deep breath they waited outside the door before the booming voice of her father spoke up. The doors opened and closed. The guards she recognized as Tommy and Charlie stood behind her father. Their plan was still in motion. Good.

"How nice of you to join me daughter."

"Don't call me that. I'm not your daughter. Never was and never will be. What you're doing here is barbaric."

"Oh Y/N it's merely population control. We find those that could create a cure for this virus or those that we find weak get the virus."

"If all you plan to do is give the weak the virus why search for a cure?"

"Because some of us are actually worth saving." He rolled the sleeve on his arm up as he had signs of the virus starting. If this was his sick way of trying to get her to care about him it wasn't working.

"Ha seems that you have more issues than one."

"That's where you're wrong."

Y/N's eyes looked at her father as she shook her head. A soft laugh leaving her lips. "You seriously don't see the big picture here. You caught the virus and you have no idea how to create a cure."

"Actually I just might."

What on earth did he mean? Hell this wasn't earth this was hell. And she was face to face with the devil.

"You couldn't possibly. Phil told me you've been searching for it for a while. So what makes you think that you've found it now?"

"Well you see. That's where you come into the equation."

She laughed as she shook her head. Eyes shifting between her father and the two behind him.

"You can't possibly think that I'd be willing to help you. Not after what you've done."

"Here let me show you just how much I care."

Her father walked over to her from behind the desk unlocking the handcuffs preventing her from doing anything. She didn't understand why he did what he did, not until the door burst open and Phil was dragged through the door beaten to a pulp.

"PHIL!"

She nearly launched herself at him as he was thrown at the feet of the guards. Gritting her teeth she looked at her father, tears in her eyes.

"THAT'S HOW YOU SHOW YOU CARE? BEATING THE GUY WHO HAS TREATED ME MORE LIKE A DAUGHTER THAN YOU EVER HAVE?"

Fire raged inside Y/N. First her father killed Ranboo, and it was his fault Wilbur was gone as well. And now he's beaten Philza, the one man she looked up to. That treated her like his own daughter.

"This is merely just the beginning." He raised a gun pointing it directly at Phil as her eyes went wide. Instincts kicked in as she threw herself over Phil to protect him as a gunshot rung out.
