I hope you like this one...

She's drunk.
"Olivia you had too many martinis.. and cocktails.. and whatever you had after that."
But she enjoyed it. We had fun, so I didn't care about it, cause she was smiling. Happy. That's the only thing that matters to me and I will protect her when something happens that will change that.

She stumbles over the sidewalk with me.
We got out of the restaurant with my hand on her hips caring her.
"I'm.. so.. sorry. I wanted the date to be romanticccccccc."
Looking up to me with those beautiful eyes and her blond hair in the face. Makeup still perfectly on her face even when she doesn't need it.
She stops.

„Come one we have to get going, it's cold." feeling her cold cheeks when I touched her face.
„Jamesßss" cute pronouncing.

„I don't wanna go home. It's...scaryyyy." laughing about it and walking again.

But I don't take it as a joke. „Why? What's so scary?" She's jumping around before me and laughing.
„Wellll. It's dark. And I'm alone." „Even when I'm not alone it's even scarier cause he is there." Hearing what she says I now who she means.

We got to my car and she's just standing looking like she's daydreaming.
Me deciding I shouldn't talk about this when she is drunk.

Opening the door so she gets in her seat. Going around the car and getting behind the steering wheel.
"Hey, get your seatbelt on."
Her face makes a expression like a kid does when he doesn't get his chocolate. "NNooo, I don't wanna"
"Olivia, please."
"No thank you James, I'm good." Letting me no other chance, I lean over and grab the seatbelt and trying to click it in.
Trying. Cause she doesn't let me do it.

She's laughing uncontrollably.
"You need to be safe." She doesn't stop with laughing.
I grab her face with one hand and make her look at me.
"Seatbealt. Now. Try not to die."
Looking stubborn. Growning and doing what I said.

Good girl.

Driving on the night streets with the radio playing:"Until I found you"

Classic cliché.

Driving just randomly. I don't even now where she lives. Looking over to her many times and looking to the street again.
She's quit, looking out of the window. Her hands playing with each other and leaning her head against the seat. I hear how the window opens.
"Olivia-"

Her head already out of the window and smiling like a puppy that's the first time in a car. Her hands holding onto the car.
She leans her head down and resting with the fresh air in her face. Her hair flies up and down repeatedly. Just calm with a feeling of peace.
Closing her eyes and letting the moment feel like forever.

"Where should I bring you? Where do you live?"
I ask her and looking over to her.

Still with her eyes closed she answered me. "You know the wine bar in Hackney? "Nobody asked me" is the name. I know a stupid name. Do you know it?"

"Unfortunately I don't know. I will tip it in the car navigation."

10 minutes and you will be at your destination.

Speaks the computer lady.

"But your right. It is a stupid name for a bar."

I hear her breathing deeply and smiling. Taking deep breaths now of the fresh wind.

"Olivia..-" I try to start a conversation to ask her about him. The man who haunts her at home.

I don't know how to start it. But straight up.

"Olivia. Is he home tonight?"

Calmly, eyes still closed.
"I don't know, probably. Maybe? He doesn't answer my texts or calls."

"When something happens-" getting cut off from her.

„James, I'm not a kid. I appreciate your help but he's not a monster. Nothing bad happend. I don't know why I said that earlier."

She's trying to denial it and defend him. Stop that and tell me the truth.

"Okay, when you say that. I trust you. But just that you now, call me anytime."

I look to her again like I did the whole time and see her staring.

"I know, and I thank you for that."
Smiling softly.

You arrived at your destination.

Stopping the car and opening my door. Going around the car to open her door.
Just to see her standing already on the sidewalk and slowly closing the door.

I stand before her, "should I walk you home?"

"No it's okay, just 2 minutes and I'm there."

Clinging to her purse and looking to me.

"Well then James, it was very nice. I'm sorry that I'm drunk."

Smiling warmly at her, I take her hand and gently kiss the back of her hand.
"Good night Olivia, be safe on your way home."

She smiled.
Coming closer to me.
Her arms around my neck now in seconds.
Our faces just inches away from each other.

She hugs me.

Me surprised and naive for thinking she's was going to let me taste her lips.

Wrapping my arms around her.

"Thank you for everything today. Your a great friend."

She kisses me on the cheek and starts to walk away.

Me standing here and feeling.. feeling... hurt.

She spins on her heels and looks back at me with a smile on her face, waving goodbye. Turning around again and walking away so I can't see her anymore.

A great friend.
For her, I'm a great friend.
Not what I expected.
Cause for me she is much more than a friend.

Sorry for the short chapter!!!
