AFTER THE BATHROOM incident, Kyra had made her way to the Hermes Cabin by herself. Of course, she had wanted to go with Percy and Annabeth around camp, but seeing how she had already seen every inch of it, Annabeth had convinced her otherwise. Apparently, it was better if she went to Cabin 11 and met the head counselor, Luke Castellan.

So, that's what she did. Well, not before tackling Percy with a hug and making him swear to not get into any more trouble.

Once she had made it to the cabin, she strolled inside where she found a mass amount of kids. A majority of them looked pretty similar—impish, in a way—while the rest looked like they might've been unclaimed, like her.

Within a few seconds of walking inside, she was greeted by someone who she assumed to be Luke. He was tall, with blonde hair, and the most gnarly scar Kyra had ever seen before.

"Hi," he said. "I'm Luke. Head Counsellor of the Hermes Cabin. You must be Kyra—I've heard a lot about you."

Kyra nodded her head and outstretched a hand. "Yeah, that's me. Good to meet you."

Luke accepted her hand, "I heard about what happened in the bathroom. Clarisse sure got her ass handed to her, huh?"

A grimace formed on Kyra's features. She knew word of what had happened was bound to get around Camp, but she didn't expect it to be that quickly. "Uh, yeah. It was pretty intense."

The blonde boy let out a huff of laughter. "I don't know what I'd do if I were her," he said to the girl. "Getting embarrassed by two new kids in front of everyone? Yeah, I'd probably go insane."

Kyra didn't say anything for a moment, and instead took the time to observe the boy in front of her. There was something different about him, but she couldn't tell what it was. Was it from the way he stood in absolute confidence? Or maybe it was the jarring scar that crossed his face that made him unlike the others.

"Yeah," she said finally, deciding not to mention it. However, Luke, taking notice of her odd behavior, raised an eyebrow.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked the girl.

"What? Nothing."

"Nah, I know that look," he shook his head. "Something's on your mind."

"It's just that..." she began. "how come you're so much more different than everyone else here?"

Luke's eyes furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean?"

The girl shook her head and let out a nervous sigh. "I–I don't know," she said. "It's weird. You have, like, an aura about you. It's not like anyone else here. I mean, it's not bad! Don't get me wrong! It's just...different."

Kyra's words made Luke feel uneasy. Could she tell that he was the one who stole the Master Bolt? No. She couldn't. There was no logical explanation for her being able to see through his facade. It was perfect. It had to be perfect.

"Huh," he said finally. "I don't know. That is weird."

Before Kyra could continue any further, Percy slowly strolled into the cabin, steering her focus off of Luke and to him. She watched as he walked over to his minotaur horn and sat down on it. With a look to the head counselor, she went over to the dark-haired boy.

"Just so you know," she started, as she sat down beside him. "If you ever almost die on me again, I'm going to kill you."

Percy raised an eyebrow at the girl, but nodded anyway. "Okay, deal."

After that, Luke came back towards the pair, "I found the two of you sleeping bags," he said to them. "I forgot to tell you Kyra, sorry. But anyway, I also stole you both some toiletries from the camp store."
