Chapter 26.

We near the parliament slowly. I honestly can't think. At all. I feel so uneasy and I have a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach.

My gut is annoying me.

I glelue my gaze to the building in front of us. By now my espresso has been long time finished, but I keep forgetting and putting it up to my mouth. Something is wrong with me.

"We should go in" Chelsea says calmly, though though I look at her she seems nervous.

"Could I just ask something?"

She nods.

"Why do you care so much? Not that I'm complaining, but im really curious. Your really involved with whats happening between Antonio and I. And I want to know why?"

She sighs "Alondre, his my brother my blood. If his cheating, which I don't want to be true as much as you. I don't want him to disappoint me and not just me you. And my whole family. Not only is he the chief and leader of this family but this is also not how our mother raised him or any of my brothers. It's not right also I care about you and your happiness. You have been thru ot with Antonio alone I know it's not easy being with a Jacobs man believe me I've seen what my mother had to go thru.

"Your one yourself" I pull up my nose.

Chelsea smiles. "You get what I mean. But ever since Antonio has met you. His never been so content in his life. I think. So someone who makes him feel this way deserves the same. It's mutual."

I study her face, nothing but a look of genuine concern.

"Thanks for everything."

"No need really" she gets out and so do I.

I'm shaking from nervousness. I lean agaisnt Chelsea's Grey audi for a few seconds.

Then i follow her into the parliament.

Antonio's POV.

Juliet arrived thirty minutes ago while I was preparing a speech in my journal.

The same journal that Alondre drew a portrait of me. I kept getting distracted always flipping back to it. Reading her handwriting what she loved about my features of my face.

I had to smile at that, she would never tl me if I didn't ask her. It made me feel nice.

I started reading what she said about my nose, but I was interrupted by someone wking into the room. Despite the fact that I put a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. I look up from the journal.

She stood there, smiling at me I couldn't return it.

Though she did look beautiful. Any man who said no would be lying.

We have been sextexting but she wasn't the one I've been sleeping with, I feel bad that I led her on all this time.

She wore a sundress, which I didn't understand because the days have started getting chilly. Her hair was back to her normal curls. My eyes scanned down her long legs.i took a hard swallow as I looked back up at her face knowing what I have to do now.

"Juliet I thought i said I'll see you later." I finally spoke.

"Yes I know. I'm sorry chiefy, but those texts really reved me up and I couldn't wait to see you."

She made her self comfortable in the chair and I quickly pushed the journal in the draw.

"What was that?"

"It's just my journal. I was trying to pen down some words for my speech. But you disturbed me." I rolled my eyes, referring to the sign that was clearly on the door. But I wasn't bothered.
