Chapter 16
After a tough few months trying to get votes and making speeches all over the island it has finally come to voting day.
I feel I have tried my best winning people over in the very first election this island. I'm about to go out on the stage for the last time before the voting begins but first Joshua and Alex are on.
"So ladies and gentlemen, those who still have a little bit of brain cells left, know that we should go back to the ways of Tribal chief Jerome Jacobs, and push aside the regin of Antonio. Myself and Alex have the tools and mindset to bring those glory days back. Do the right thing vote for Me and make this island great again. Thank you.
It's now mine and Susan's turn.
"Susan are yiu ready?" I ask taking a sip of water.
"I'm with you til the end" she says.
We walk out from behind the curtain and on to the stage. The crowd is going crazy clapping and cheering us on.
"Good afternoon fellow islanders." I say pointing to the crowd.
"I'm not going to make a whole speech and diss the crowd about their brain cells. All I'm going to say is, the tribal chief is the right cheif to run the Island because since he took over things have improved ten fold, jobs, housing and even general living. So vote for me and we will maintain that ways and continue to keep this island great thank you." The crowd starts clapping snd chanting my name.
I walk to the back and I see Antonio standing there, he has never once came to any of my rallies because he said I should do it on my own.
"Baby your here." I say hugging him
"Yes and once again you were amazing." He says kissing my forehead
"Aren't you suppse to address the crowd?" I ask.
"Yes yes I'm on next wish me luck" He says giggling.
He steps out of the curtain and if you thought the crowd cheering for me was loud, his was out of this world.
"Ladies and Gentlemen please put your right arm up and point to the sky in acknowledgment to the tribal chief Antonio Jacobs" James says.
"WHOS READY TO VOTE!!!!!" Antonio screams over the mic.
"Who ever wins I hope we can work together and continue to improve this island, and it's beautiful people. Your vote matters, this island now is in your hands. Anyway people go out snd vote and have a fantastic day. Love you all. Tribal chief out peace" Antonio does a mic drop moment and walks off stage.
"You did that to make sure we win ne" I say
"No I didn't" He says.
"What do we do now?" I ask
"Now we go to the palace and wait for the results." He says.
We get into the car and drive off to the palace.
We arrive at the palace and the living room is filled with people, staff members, members of parliament and my newly found government all awaiting the results.
It has been three hours and the voting period finally ended now the system is doing calculation to find out who won.
"Ladies and Gentlemen the numbers are in each and every single person voted and the system had done its calculations." The news reporter says.
"Win or lose you did a great job baby" Antonio says holding me. I can't bare to see what the result is.
"And the winner of the very first election on the island of relevancy, winning by 532 to 520. Ladies and Gentlemen your new president of the island..........Alondre Rose!!!!!"
