Chapter 22

After our love making, Antonio and I dress each other up and head of the place. As we approached the limo waiting on us cameras and reports surrounded us.

"I know I should be used to this but someday I'll get so annoyed and smack one of these people in the face no matter if I rule the country or not." He says

We arrive at the hospital, and I go through the entrance quickly and Antonio follows me closely thru the gap the guards made for us.

We get to the front desk and I ask to see Jolene Jacobs.

"Second floor, room 206" the nurse behind the desk says to us. We thank her and head to tbe stairs.

It only takes us two flight of stairs to reach the second floor. Jolene's room is the third door on the left. The whole Jacobs family is outside the door.

"About time" Chelsea walks up to us and hugs me first then him. We go on to greet the rest of the family surprisingly everyone is good with us no bad blood.

"She's not letting anyone in there" Chelsea warns Antonio as his hand went onto the door knob.

"I'm her brother and the tribal chief of the island and this family." He says.

"Yeah and I'm her sister. Plus you didn't even want to come see her. If Alondre wasn't with you..." she stops in her tracks and she folds her arms.

He stares her down.

"Alondre take a seat" I do as I'm told and sit next to Joshua. I sit down and Antonio goes in the room despite the warning given by Chelsea.

It's silent between the jacobs family. I look down and fold my legs towards me.

I then hear heels clicking down the hallway. I look up to see the only person that can make my stomach turn with disgust, the one who I hate. None other than

Fucking Juliet!

She's wearing black high heels they are ankle high and a pair of white shorts with a purple crop top. Her hair is straightened colored and long, longer than mine. My heart races with rage.

"Where's Jolene? I came as soon as I could oh goodness my best friend."

She immediately stops speaking when she sees me. I sigh because I know she's going to make remarks.

"Hmmm. I didn't know that they allowed dogs in this hospital." She's messing with me.

"Well you're in here so I think they do" I say cheeky.

"Oooooh comeback burn " Antonio's brothers says, while Chelsea gives her dirty looks. She looks lost for words didn't expect a come back I guess.

"I don't have time for this" she says making a fist.

"Where's Jolene? I gotta see her!" She says.

"Where do you think? She's in that room" I say.

She exhales as if she's stopping herself from speaking further. She walks inside the room just then I realized Antonio is still in there. I hate the idea of them being together in a room when I'm not there.

I guess I gotta just thrust my man.

Antonio's POV

"Jolene what the fuck happened." I say when I walked into ther room, she turns her face away and sighs.

"Antonio, I don't want anyone in here rifht now" she says not looking at me.

"Oh come on, I'm your brother for fucks sake. And as your tribal chief I demand to know what happened!" I say.

I walk to the other side of her bed. Her face is bruised, completely black and blue. She has a brace around around neck and a bandage on her head.

"I fell" she says.

"On your face and neck?" I'm confused because Paul told me they beat her up but she's telling me she fell. To me I think I'll believe Paul and not her.

I'm about to ask her about it when the door bursts open and Juliet walks in.

"Jojo! Oh my God what happened to you?" She runs to Jolenes side and grabs her arm.

I cross my arms" she fell is what she said." My voice very stern.

It's then that Juliet's light red eyes meet with mine she walks up to me and hugs me.

"Tony" she whispers.

For a reason unknown to me, my body shivers. I pull back and take a good look at her, and inwont even lie she's gorgeous.

She looks dead in the eyes and says.

"I miss you do you know that?" I feel myself getting hypnotized by her charm.

"Would you two stop giving eachother love looks and just kiss already." Jolene says.

She moves in for a kiss my body rooted to the ground I can't move. Just as she reaches my face Chelsea walks in. Thank God!

"Seeing as you let them in I'll come in too." Chelsea says pushing Juliet out the way and stands next to me.

"She's tired she says" Juliet replies.

"Shut up bitch and stand in the corner, before I call Alondre in here" how could I forget Alondre is here.

"Who the hell are yiu to talk to..."

"Quiet. My sister has spoken an as the chief I order you to follow the instruction given." I cut her off before this hospital has another victim.

"Right. Anyway where is your husband? The news of you in the hospital is everywhere why isn't he here" thsts a good question never really liked that cunt.

"His ummm I dunno where he is, listen juilet is right I am tired and I wanna rest. Let everyone in and then I wanna sleep." She says.

"Okay but we aren't done here sis" I say.

"Tonio listen remember that teddy bear daddy gave me, it helps me to sleep can you please go and pick it up for me at home" she asks.

"Yes ofcourse where's your key?" I ask.

"Frank is home" she says.

"I thought you said you didn't know where he is." Chelsea says.

"Ummm my head is sore and I can't remember man, his home he will open for you." I have reason to believe he put my sister in this state.

"Okay Jojo ill pay him a visit and get the bear for you sis."

I kiss her bye and leave the room when my family walks in.

I walk out and see Alondre sitting there.

I don't deserve her really I don't. I'm hiding feelings and things which I can't control.

"Hey ready to go?" She asks.

"We've fof to go to Jolene's house to pick up something for her" i say.

"Is she okay?"

I hesitate before answering. "I hope so"

Then Juliet comes down the hall again towards me.

"I just wanted to say a proper goodbye" she says ignoring Alondre as she wraps her arms around my neck pulling our bodies closer.

"You know where to find me" she whispers in my ear. I instantly feel like my skin is on fire. I want to slap myself because her touch does something to me which I can't figure out.

She finally let's go and gives a small wave and walks away. Swaying her hips. I love the way her body moves. It takes everything for me to tear my eyes away from her.

I grip Alondre' hand an exit the hospital. My heart filled with sin.

What am I doing?
