I'm still speechless to see the red haired girl in front of me smiling and looking at me

i pull akemi closer into a hug

'Please don't do that again, even for my sake, there's no point if you... if something happened to you.. i... ' i can't even continue my words because it's too painful

'shhh katsuo-kun, don't worry im here, everything is gonna be okay' akemi reassures me

'i told you didn't i? that i will never hurt you or do anything to make you sad anymore, i could never repay you for all the things you've done to me, even your forgiveness, i could never truly erase horrible things I've done to you in the past' she smiles with a hint of sadness on her eyes

'Akemi, enough, it's all done, whatever in the past is the past... all i need for you now is recover and cherish your life, okay?' I tell her

'Okay katsuo-kun' she nodded

'Now are you hugry? do you want some food?'

'A little bit... can you feed me katsuo-kun?' akemi ask me with puppy eyes

'Sure, let me whip up something for you'

I make a quick chicken porridge because her digestive system probably needs some time to adjust

as i feed her the porridge gently i ask her few questions

'Akemi, can i ask you few things?' i ask

'Sure, ask away' she replied happily
