The news Chan dropped on them on the way to the hideout, still has them all invested once they finally reach the place. Jisung refrained from asking any weird sex questions because Minho is with them, but actually ends up apologizing to Chan for not saying, but very much thinking of a sexual joke or two to tell when Chan was still pushing him to the ground the day before. Minho is proud of him for that and that is all Jisung needs to smile like an idiot, then glare at Chan once the older smirks at him again from witnessing their little exchange.
Once they reach Jisung's hideout, he gives them a very quick tour of the underground place. Very quick, because there is a kitchen, a living room, two bathrooms and three bedrooms, which are the only actually relevant places after all and therefore also the only ones he shows them. Jisung thinks that with Chan being present, one of the two remaining rooms should definitely be his, considering that Jisung is most certainly staying in his own room. Do not ask him how they got Hyunjin into the place, because Jisung does not want to talk about how he actually made an effort to open a bigger secret entrance to the place, just to get him inside. Since the ceilings are of regular height, Hyunjin can very much stand without issues as well.
Chan keeps giving Jisung those stupid smirks of his again from time to time when it is Minho's turn to be assigned to whichever room Chan was not assigned to. But then Jisung makes him leave by telling him to get them some ingredients, so Minho can cook for them. He has been waiting to taste Minho's cooking since he has tasted the pie the man had made and he really fucking hopes his skill comes close with other stuff as well. Though he is aware that for now at least, Minho would settle with making something simpler for lunch first, which means that the actual big meal is more of a dinner thing. Jisung can wait if he has to.
Minho finds some tea and a kettle though and cooks some up for them first thing. Jisung, after checking his room real quick in the meantime, comes joining Minho right then, sits down on one of the three chairs at the small dining table and bends one of his legs to rest his foot on the edge of the seat of the chair. He keeps the other one down on the ground, left his boots by the door when he and Minho said goodbye to Chan. Not without making the guard start the fire in the fireplace in the living room first of course.
They do not talk much while they are alone. Not for now. Because Minho just makes them tea and then he smiles at Jisung when he puts his mug down on the table right in front of him and leaves him there shortly after, just to get his brush out of his bag and brush his silver hair. The younger watches him from afar, a very simple question stuck on his tongue that he keeps trying to ask, just to hold it in again instead. Well, one of many things he is refraining from asking.
When Chan returns to the hideout and he and Minho unpack the bags of food he has brought, the two easily fall back into casual conversation and Jisung bites the inside of his cheek to hold back from saying anything stupid. Like telling Chan to leave the kitchen because it feels too full with three people in it, despite that not being true at all. Or like asking Minho one of the questions he has for him or maybe even to just comment something about how great Jisung thinks his hair looks now that the has only tied the top half of it up, has pulled out some pieces around his face as usual, because that is apparently something he does on the regular now.
Instead, he stays uncharacteristically quiet, is only a little bit grumpy when no one asks him if he wants a refill on his tea. Not that he wants one anyway, but it is not too much to expect, right? For them to pause their conversation for a second or two to just ask. He watches Minho the entirety of him preparing a quiche for their lunch, finds it unfairly attractive of the man to be undeniably handsome, far too nice to Jisung for no proper reason, strong, calm, sweet and good in the kitchen. Truly unfair. But reason enough for Jisung to keep him around, right? Yes. For now at least. Only for now, until the two weeks are over and he is free again.
