hi! i saw you reblogged a prompt post where i type one sentence and you finish the rest, so i thought i'd send you one. "i forgot what it was like to bleed, as i was never the sort to seek trouble, but these days it seems trouble is seeking me."

aww, thank you! hope i did it justice

"Don't get all poetic on me, Jones," you said as you wrapped the bandage around Jughead's abdomen. "After Jason Blossom's presumed death I'm surprised it took so long for one of you to get hurt, isn't that how it usually goes in a slasher flick?"

Jughead smirked down at you while Betty laughed at your comment. Never in your life did you think you'd ever get to see Jughead Jones shirtless, much less have a reason to feel him up. Dire situations seem to bring people together in unexpected ways.

"Never pegged you as someone who was into those types of movies," Jughead groaned as he tried sitting down on the couch you had taken an accidental nap on earlier. If it weren't for that nap, Jughead would have been stuck trying to bandage himself up as Betty wasn't good at dealing with the sight of other people's blood.

"Oh please, I bet I never actually crossed your mind," you say jokingly as you make your way back to the first aid kit in the office of the Blue and Gold.

"Jughead's been trying to figure out a way to start a regular conversation with you for the past two months, at least. I'm pretty sure he's practically-"

Betty was cut off by Jughead groaning. Loudly. You laughed at his antics knowing that Betty was about to tell you something crucial.

"Jughead is there something you'd like to tell me because it seems that you interrupted Betty as she was about to start talking about how infatuated you are with me," your tone was light and playful, but you actually really wanted to know. You had tried starting conversations with the boy by discussing article topics and editing, but they never seemed to go past that. You wanted to know Jughead Jones the same way Betty did, but weren't sure if you wanted to have the same type of relationship.

"And what if I am?" he said cheekily.

"Well then I'd say that we shouldn't discuss our feelings here since Betty is in the room," your eyes drifted over to Betty who was utterly amused with the entire interaction between you and Jughead. You turned back to putting everything away in the kit.

"Our feelings Y/N?" you felt heat rise up to your cheeks at the realization of what you had said. You closed the kit and cleared your throat trying to divert the subject, but before you could speak up Jughead continued. "Well Betty, I think it's time you started heading home, it's getting late and you know how your mother gets."

Both you and Betty started laughing at Jughead's words, which made his face heat up. "I think it's time for all of us to go home Juggie," Betty said as she held out her hand to help him out of his seat. He undeniably took it, but the look on his face was one of pain as he got up. You made your way toward the door, and presumed to wait for them to join you.

"But what about-"

"Come on Jones, I might even walk to Pop's with you after we drop Betty off at her place," you cut him off, Betty and Jughead behind you. Betty laughed at the look on Jughead's face.

"Y/N I think you've made a total fool out of Jughead," Betty said, pinching his cheeks.

"Maybe she has," you heard him mumble, looking embarrassed.
