three. Thinking Out Loud

I stared at Acacia with wide eyes. I forgot how tiring babies can be. I got up from my bed and looked at the time: 4:48 am. Nice Acacia, nice. I walked to her crib and picked her up gently. I cradled her in my arms as I was walking in the in the kitchen and was surprised to see Devon shaking a baby bottle. I tried not to laugh but the longer I stared at him shaking the bottle, hard may I add, I just couldn't hold it anymore. I held onto Acacia a little tighter to make sure she wouldn't slip from my arms as I was laughing.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked. The look he was giving me caused me to stop laughing just so I can glare at him.

"Don't give me that look Dev. I am not a psychopath." I pouted.

"Sure. Whatever you say, Mer." He chuckled. I stuck my tongue out at him and took the bottle from his hands and fed it to her. She sucked on it hungrily and Dev looked at her with so much love held in his eyes.

I swayed my body as I was feeding her and she fell asleep after a couple of minutes. I walked back to my room and set her down in the crib. I walked back over to my bed and tried to fall back to sleep for at least 30 minutes before  getting up for school but my body wouldn't listen. I tried a couple more times before deciding to finally get up.

I grabbed my towel and walked into the bathroom and turned on the cold water. I hopped inside and shivered before getting used to it. I feel that showering in cold water wakes up my body. I don't know if it's just me but it works. I shampooed and conditioned my hair for about three minutes each and brushed my teeth before getting out and drying my body. I plugged in the blow dryer and sprayed a little heat protectant around my hair and began my routine. After I was finished with that I grabbed my bag filled with makeup and took out my everyday products. I applied my eyeliner into a winged style and curled my lashes before putting on mascara.

"Crap, I forgot to put on the foundation." To other people foundation seems like a little too much but it really isn't. I applied the foundation with a brush as best as I could and was pleased with the result. I exited the bathroom and went over to my drawers filled with clothing.

"What do I wear?" I took out the usual, skinny jeans and a sweater. After putting on my undergarments, I slipped on my clothes and black socks. I grabbed my phone, school bag, Vans, and wallet. As I was leaving my room I gave Acacia a kiss and headed towards the kitchen. I sat on the chair and put on my shoes and began making breakfast.

"Hey." Ava greeted. I waved at her as I mixed the eggs.

"Can you go over to the neighbors and ask her to watch the young ones?" I asked. I heard her mumble a yes and listened as she opened the door and walked out.

Ava walked back in at the same time Arian, Lili, and Gerard came out of their room. I finished cooking the last pancake and called everyone to eat.

"She said she would love too." Ava said clearly still tired. I smiled at her and told her a thanks.

"Arian, Lili, Gerard?" I said and got their full attention, "Ava, Devon, and I are going to school and Miss Healy will be watching you three along with Cia. Don't cause her too much trouble." I told them. They nodded their heads with grins on their faces. I motioned for Ava and Dev to hurry. The two put on their shoes and off we were to hell-- I mean school. Yeah, school.

*I was going to end it here but I made  you wait for too long*

I entered school with Dev and Ava by my side. As we walked down the hall we heard whispers. I'm surprised these idiots actually watched the news. Ava and Devon went their separate ways and I was left alone to listen to these gossip boobs. I rolled my eyes and shut them all out. I took the picture of Acacia out from my pocket and opened my locker. I shoved my bag inside and ripped a piece of tape off the roll and put her picture right where I could see it each time I opened my locker door. I got my books and notebooks for the first three classes and left for Art.

I sat down by my lonesome self and waited for class to start. There was still about ten minutes left. I plugged in my earphones and shoved the little green things in my ear and turned it up full volume. I swear, I am going to go deaf before I turn 80.

I felt tapping on my shoulder and turned to my right and saw Mr.Jones telling me that class is about to start. I sighed and paused my music. Dag Naggets.

"Okay class. Today we will be doing something a little different. Partner projects." He said.

A girl raised her hand and asked,"Do we get to pick our partners?"

"No."

The class groaned and I just rolled my eyes. And looked at him with eyes that said, 'Hurry-thefuck-up-and-explain-it.' He rolled his eyes at me and smiled a little.

"I will be telling you your partners and after I do that please move next to him/her. You guys will then discuss what you want to do but it has to be related to art. Meaning music, dance, painting, sculpting, and etc."

"What a drag." I grumbled. Mr.Jones stared at me with a playful glare and I just rolled my eyes. When he turned around I flipped him off causing the class to giggle.

Mr.Jones and I have a pretty good relationship. We tend to joke around in class a lot but it doesn't cause me any trouble. I would say he is my favorite teacher out off eight.

"Tanner and Aubrey."

"Jake and Casey."

"Simon and Clare." I decided to tune him out and continued playing my music. I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked up. I was surprised to see a blushing Marcel. I was taken aback by how cute he looked when he blushed. I have never been this close to him before. Ever.

"H-hi. Name my is Marcel." He messed up his words and his cheeks reddened in embarrassment. I chuckled at his adorableness and was again surprised. What is wrong with me? I felt my forehead for any over heating in my noddle but felt nothing unusual. How is he doing this?

"Are you magic?" I questioned him.

"W-what?"

"Nevermind." He nodded his head and we just sat their in silence.

"Okay, I can't stand this. Just come over to my place later today and we'll discuss are little thingy together." I offered him a smile and was about to play my music again until I heard his adorable stuttering voice.

"I-i d-don't know where y-you live." Oh right.

"Just meet me at my locker. You know where that is, right?" He nodded his head once again and I played my music, blocking everything out. I opened my eyes a couple minutes later and saw him drawing something. I only saw half a face.

"Wow. Your an amazing drawer." I commented. He jumped up obviously startled by my voice. He quickly covered the drawing with his hands and muttered out a thanks. The bell rang and I found myself looking forward to having Marcel over.
