Dora left me in Diagon Alley all by myself. She trusted me to be able to shop for myself as she was busy, Reggie was in hiding and Remus is a werewolf. So I took responsibility of myself and went to Flourish and Blotts to buy my books.

Apparently some sort of author named 'Gilderoy Lockhart' is going to be there. No idea who he is to be honest. Right after I went to Flourish and Blotts, the Weasleys came, along with Harry and Hermione. Harry and Hermione spotted me and immediately ran towards me.

Harry looked like he just dipped himself in dust.

"Y/n! Happy Birthday!" Harry wished. "Thanks, brother. You too." I replied. "Happy Birthday, Y/n and Harry." Hermione wished the both of us and we thanked her for it. "You haven't been responding to my letters." I called him out. "He hasn't been responding to my letters either." Hermione chimed in.

"Some sort of 'house elf' kept stealing my letters." Harry argued. Before we could continue our conversation Mrs. Weasley pulled us towards the rest of the Weasleys "Harry, Thank goodness. We'd hoped you'd gone only one grate too far. And Y/n! Great to see you again."

"Good to see you too, Mrs. Weasley." I smiled at her and she returned the smile while dusting off Harry's clothes.

"Ladies and gentleman, Gilderoy Lockhart."

Mrs. Weasley gasped at the mention of Lockhart and turned away from Harry. "Here he is." She tried to fix her hair though it was perfect. Ron, who was standing next to her said "Mum fancies him." which made Mrs. Weasley playfully punch him.

A photographer pushed past us with a huge camera. "Excuse me, little girl. This is for the Daily Prophet." He pushed Hermione aside and went upfront to take a photo of him. Lockhart smiled for the camera as they took a few pictures of him. His expressions suddenly changed as if he had just noticed something.

"It can't be..." He spoke slowly. "The Potter siblings? Together?" He spoke as if it wasn't believable or possible for the Potter twins to be together. "Harry and Y/n Potter!" The Daily Prophet photographer grabbed us aggressively with both hands and pushed us towards Lockhart.

After the photographer released us, Lockhart grabbed us and made us stand on his either side. "Nice big smile, Harry and Y/n. Together, you two and I rate the front page." He pulled the realest fake smile for the picture. I didn't get to react in time as they took the photo and on the second shot, I had an awkward smile on my face.

"Ladies and gentleman, what an extraordinary moment this is." He stated. Extraordinary my ass. I hate paparazzi or appearing in any sort of newspaper or media. "When these two amazing children stepped into Flourish and Blotts to purchase my autobiography - magical me.." Everyone clapped as if it was something awesome. Although I've never heard of Lockhart nor his stupid biography. Ever.

"Which - incidentally - is currently celebrating it's 27th week atop the Daily Prophet bestseller list. They had no idea that they would, in fact, be leaving..." I looked over to Harry who looked just as uncomfortable as I was. "...Entire collected works..." Someone handed him two sets of books. Books I had no interest in reading. He handed us the books and we held them for the cameras. "...Free of charge."

I could hear cameras clicking as everyone started clapping. Me and Harry ran out of the spotlight as fast as we could. We walked over to Mrs. Weasley who took our books. "Give me those, I'll go get them signed." She stated.  "All of you wait outside, that's it."

"I'll help you, Mrs. Weasley. Handling all those books may be heavy." I offered her. She smiled. "Well aren't you an Angel. Thank you." I stood next to her in line as the Golden Trio left. After a few minutes, I swear I could here Draco's voice from outside the bookshop.

I went home after that odd encounter with Lockhart.

The next day, Dora dropped me off at Hogwarts Express. Nothing crazy happened on the way to Hogwarts. Unlike my expectations.

It was pretty normal. I got to the station, found Hermione and decided to sit with her because I couldn't find my friends and Draco and apparently she couldn't find Harry and Ron either. We got to Hogwarts safely. But the chilling feeling stayed within me. Why didn't Snape want me to come to Hogwarts this year?

I had my guards up a bit more than usual. Just making sure nothing jumps up on me and chokes me to death.

"How was your holidays?" I asked out of politeness and she started to tell me about everything that happened in her life the past few months. I listened and responded accordingly.

Somehow my brother and his best-friend had been found inside Mr. Weasley's flying car inside the Womping Willow.

"So, let me get this straight - someone's house-elf shows up in your bedroom and you have no idea who it serves, you were locked out of Platform 9 3/4, you used Arthur Weasley's flying car to come to Hogwarts and you almost get killed by a tree?"

"Pretty much." Harry replied. We were walking in the hallways and telling each other about our holidays. Mine a bit less eventful than his. "Blimey, that's one hell of a vacation." I give him a piece of my mind and tell him about my vacation aswell.
