LW x reader ~ endometriosis

i woke up in the morning and the bed was cold. i kept my eyes closed and felt around to find leah.

i opened my eyes and saw the duvet pulled back.
there was still a curve in leah's pillow from where her head had been.

i sat up and saw blood all over the mattress.

shit not again.

i got up quickly and ran to the bathroom.

"leah are you okay" i said knocking on the door.

"y/n" she said weakly.

i opened the door and walked in.

she was on the floor, leaning against the bath. her cheeks were stained with tears and her eyes were red. she was crying and she seemed to be struggling to breathe.

"baby i'm here it's okay" i said and sat down beside her.

"everything hurts" she sobbed.

she tried to move but winced in pain.

"don't try to move baby. have you had your meds?" i asked. she shook her head.

"i'll be right back" i said. i jumped up and ran to get her meds and a bottle of water. i also flicked on the kettle to make her a hot water bottle.

i ran back upstairs and helped her take her tablets.

"why did this have to happen to me" she cried.

"i hate it. i don't get why your even here. why do you deal with me when im like this"

"baby i love you so much. i want to help you in any way i can. im here because you are amazing and i care about you so much. i've never told you this but your my first love. i've never told anyone i love them before" i said.

we sat there for a while and then she started hyperventilating because she couldn't stop crying.

"leah baby. breathe. slowly" i said. she gripped onto my hand. i stroked over the back of it with my thumb.

"follow my breathing my love" i said.

"i love you so much baby" i whispered.

she copied my breathing and eventually calmed down.

"do you want a bath and then we can have a cuddle in bed?" i asked. she nodded.

"i feel disgusting" she whispered. "i'm a monster"

"you are not a monster baby" i said. i started filling up the bath with water, checking the temperature to make sure it wasn't too hot and wasn't too cold.

"your my little cutie. i love everything about you. all the things you love about yourself, i love them. and all the things you hate about yourself, i love them too" i said.

once the tub was filled enough, i helped leah strip of her clothes. i lifted her up and lowered her into the water.

"im going to change the bedsheets and then ill be right back. if you need anything, shout me" i said. i kissed the top of her head and walked out of the bathroom.

i was in the middle of changing the sheets when i heard my name being called from the bathroom.

i dropped everything and rushed in.

"are you okay what happened" i panicked.

"i need a kiss" she said.

"baby you really scared me then" i said.

"sorry" she pouted.

i moved some hair behind her ear and rested my hand at her jaw, leaning forwards and capturing her lips in a gentle kiss.

"i'll be back in a minute and ill give you all the kisses you want baby" i said.

she nodded and i walked back to our room.

i finished changing the sheets and then went back to the bathroom.

"you okay baby" i asked. "how's the pain"

"a little bit better. still quite bad" she said

"i wish there was a way for me to take all this pain away from you" i said.

"can you help me get out" she asked.

"of course" i said.

i lifted her up and could tell it was hurting her a lot.

"im so sorry baby" i said.

i wrapped the towel around her and she sat on the toilet. i went to get her some clothes quickly and then came back.

i helped her dress and then carried her to bed.

i put the duvet over her.
"i'm just getting some things and i'll be right back" i said.

i ran downstairs and reboiled the kettle. i messaged jonas to tell him that me and leah aren't coming in today. he was very understanding about the situation. i made leah a hot water bottle and grabbed her another bottle to drink and some painkillers.

i went back upstairs and slid in beside leah.

"i need to tell jonas i can't come in today" she said.

"already done it sweetheart" i said and kissed her forehead.

she tucked the hot water bottle into the front of her pants

"thank you for everything darling. i really appreciate you so much" she said.

"i just feel so bad that you have to do all this for me. it's a lot of running around and if you don't want to do it i wouldn't be mad. i'd completely understand you" she said.

"leah. respectfully, shut the fuck up" i said.

"i love going around and caring for you. i love helping you and doing things for you. because i love you. you do so much for me. you always care for me, and do everything for me. i want to give that back and care for you" i said

"i don't deserve it though. because of me you have to do all these extra things which is a pain in the arse" she said.

"it's not a pain in the arse and even if it was, it would be worth it because at the end of the day, i get to climb in bed and have you beside me. leah you deserve the world. absolutely everything. you literally the sweetest, kindest most humble human i've ever met" i said.

"when i met you, you completely swept me off the ground and made me feel absolute royalty. this is the least i could do" i said.

"god i love you so much" she said.

"i love you more" i said and kissed her nose.

"can you come closer" she asked, unable to move from her position.

i shuffled forward and she buried her head in my chest. i put my arms around her and lightly massaged her lower back where i knew she'd be hurting.

"y/n, you are my absolute world" she said.

"and you are mine" i said.
