"Perfect as always Char. How much do I owe you?" I said as I prepared to Apple Pay her a tip since I payed for my appointment last week. "Angel get out of my chair. You are good girl," she said as I smacked my lips, Apple paying her $150. "And don't send it back either. I love you, see you next month," I said as I blew her a kiss and left her shop. My phone rang quickly and I smiled as I watched the contact name come across.

I smiled because it had been too long since I talked to my mom. "Hey mommy. What's up?" I answered as I turned out of the parking lot. "Hi baby girl. How's your day going?" She asked as I gave her the run down of my day. "Oh that's good. Well I was just calling to check on you. When are you coming back home again?" She asked as I propped set mg phone in the passenger seat once I connected my Apple car play. "Uh probably closer to march. Like right before tourney time. I miss you girl," I said as she chuckled. "I kiss you too baby girl. I'll try to come see you sooner than that though. I'll come for uhh. What's the next home game?" She asked as I raked my Brain trying to remember. "Uhh, Auburn," I said as she said okay. "I'm so excited. I'm taking my grad pics tomorrow. I could cry ma'," I said as she giggled. "You and me both baby. I'm so damn proud of you. You have made it so easy for me to raise an intelligent, beautiful, loving, and talented young woman. You guys are the best kids I could ask for. Yall make me so happy to be your mom. I love yall so much," she said as my eyes watered. "Awe mommm, I'm driving a dm you finna make me cry. I love you more," we talked a little more before I hung up the phone and went inside the apartment. Flau was laying on the floor, typing on her Mac as I walked in, with future playing on the speakers in our walls. "Oh girl, this my shit!" I said as I realized Percocet and stripper joint was playing. She looked up and chuckled. "Yeah, twin. You look cute, where you finna go?" she asked as I shook my head, kicking off my crocs. "No where, I got my grad pictures tomorrow," I said as she nodded. "Oh okay. Your boyfriend stopped by earlier. He left you those," she said pointing towards the kitchen, where there was a huge bouquet of heart shaped flowers with a card attached.

I gasped covering my mouth and I waked over to them. "Oh my goshhhh, I'm finna cry," I said as she laughed at me. "Cry baby ass. What the note say?" She said as I shrugged, going to open it. I opened the letter and couldn't help but smile as I read it. I grabbed my phone to FaceTime him and he answered in two ring. "What's up my love," he said as I blushed hard. I flipped the camera around and he smiled when he realized I'd seen his surprise. "So what do you say mama?" He asked as I turned the camera back around. "Of course Jelani. Thank you so much, I love them," I said as she smiled hard. "Good, I'm happy you like them. You look really beautiful baby," he said as I smiled covering my mouth. "Jelo stoppp. Where are you?" I asked as I walked don't my bedroom, and began to change my clothes. "I'm on my way to watch Raven and then play before our game," he said as I nodded, pulling a T-shirt over my head. "Aye, that's my shirt?" He asked as I looked down and chuckled putting the phone up. "Naw ion know what your talking about," I said giggling as he shook his head laughing. "Be thinking I'm loosing clothes and they been in your closet," he said as I laughed. "I'm sorry, but you be leaving them here so that's for grabs. Sorry bookie," I said as I sniffed and even after a wash it still smelled like his cologne. "It's all good mama. Aye I love you," he said randomly making me smile. "I love you more baby. Stay on the phone with me until you get there I wanna see Ray," I said as he nodded. We stayed on the phone for thirty more minutes before we hung up. I smiled as I snuggled further into the shirt and sighed. I really love the hell out of him and it was nothing I could do about it.
