minjae sighs as he opens the front door of his house, getting greeted by his 8 years old little sister, yeeun who's sitting on the couch,

"minjaeeee!!!" she excitedly gets up and runs to her brother with her bunny plush in her hand.

he smiles as his little sister hugs him onto his legs, "oh?? what's up with you hugging me all of a sudden" he laughs, softly stroking her hair,

"can't i!!?" she frowns and just cuteness is all over her face when she looks up and minjae can't help but pinches her cheek so hard because she's too adorable even though yeeun can be annoying sometimes,

yeeun winces in pain and hits her brother's thigh in response, "it hurts!! stop doing that to my cheek!!" her frown grows deeper,

minjae just gives her a goofy face as he takes off his blazer and places it on the couch along with his backpack, "so mom just left for work?"

"yep! and oh i almost forgot! mom made us dinner before leaving, she told me to eat if im hungry but i wanna eat together with minjae! i dont like eating alone" yeeun tells minjae, her mouth is all pouty.

"aww really? you must have been hungry while waiting for me, lets go eat before the food gets cold" he feels sorry to make her wait,

yeeun smiles broadly, nodding her head excitedly. the two siblings head together to the dining room and sit in front of each other at the dining table. their stomachs rumble in hunger just by smelling the delicious food. their mom made them chicken stew and soup dumplings and side dishes such as egg rolls and bean sprouts are also prepared.

minjae gives the empty bowl to yeeun and fills it with rice before filling his own bowl like a good brother he is, "yay!! thank you!" yeeun grins, taking the spoon and chopsticks that minjae gives her,

the two begin feeding their empty stomachs. minjae smiles looking at his cute little sister eating happily, "so how was school today? any homeworks you need help with?" he asks after bringing up the spoonful of rice to his mouth,

"i got myself a boyfriend!" yeeun answers straightforwardly with a proud smile,

minjae coughs almost choking on his food, "you what!? since when did you learn stuff like that!?" his eyes widen in pure shock,

yeeun shrugs off her shoulders, "i don't know, he said he likes me and i like him too and then he asked me if i wanna be his girlfriend and i said yes! and then he said that he'll marry me when he becomes a big guy!"

minjae's mouth opens wider, "you kids are so fast at this.." he doesn't know how to react but he would be lying if he said it's not cute,

"okay have fun all you want and wait until mom finds out" he jokes with a teasing voice,

yeeun makes an angry face, "im sure you also have a girlfriend and hide it from mom as well!! so if you tell mom about it then i'll do the same!!"

by this time, minjae actually chokes on his food then quickly drinking the glass of water next to his meal, "what are you even saying, i dont even have one! even when i was an elementary schooler like you i never had a girlfriend" he speaks fast,

yeeun crosses her arms, looking away, "hmph! that's a lie! big guys like minjae should have a girlfriend already!"

"here let me tell you, not all 'big guys' have a girlfriend. you see.. like me i would rather focus on my studies first and then get into a good university next year" he explains with a proud face, wiggling his eyebrows.

"lies lies liessssss!!" yeeun mockingly says, covering her ears indicating that she doesn't wanna hear any excuses from her brother anymore,

"alright i'll tell mom you have a boyfriend then" minjae points her with the chopsticks he's holding, he is definitely done with her,

"NOOOOO!!" she cries out,

"then stop assuming i have a girlfriend!"

"fine!!!"

minjae lazily enters his room while carrying his backpack with his blazer on his shoulder. he turns on the light, a heavy sigh escapes his lips as he puts his backpack onto his desk,

he then looks at himself in the huge mirror next to him, noticing the missing button on top of his white shirt. he touches it, breathing out a soft laugh as he recalls what happened on the bus with hanni earlier. he thinks it was hilarious.

he actually knew that hanni accidentally took the button off when he was buttoning up his shirt on the bus, he just chose to not talk about it because he thought that he didn't wanna make hanni embarrass of herself any longer since he could tell that hanni had enough of feeling embarrassed throughout the ride.

"ah.. i wonder if i made her uncomfortable for saving her by doing that.. i should haven't done that, i could have grabbed her hand or something" he wonders, sighing, "it looks weird now that i think about it ugh" he grunts, anxiousness starts hitting his body,

"ah forget it! at least i did something instead of letting her fall! yeah right its all in the past now anyway!" he throws himself on his bed, then turning to his side and slowly he falls asleep without realising after minutes of staring at the blank wall.
