"Well if it isn't Miss Cinderella"
Bella stared in shock at the man in front of her. IT WAS THE MAN SHE MET AT THE CLUB.
"How does he know my address? Is he a stalker? Oh gosh dang it should I call the police? Or maybe I could punch him? No no he's too buff...How about I pull the Rapunzel move and hit him with a pan?"
Bella's train of thoughts was abruptly cut short by the squealing of her best friend.
"OH MY GOSH KANE YOU FINALLY MADE IT!!"
Judy immediately hugged the man, who chuckled as he returned the hug and sent a smirk in Bella's direction.
"Oh shit...is this Judy's boyfriend?DID I FLIRT WITH HER BOYFRIEND YESTERDAY? OH MAN HOLY SHIT!"
"You idiot! Why won't you come and visit me during your holidays?" Judy smacked Kane's head as she snickered.
"Ow!I'm sorry ok? Our commanding officer wouldn't let us have a break. With the war tensions increasing, our training is extremely hard."Kane responded, rubbing his head.
Judy turned towards Bella as she spoke, "Bella! Meet my cousin Kane. Kane, this is Bella, my partner in crime."
Kane smirked as he extended his hand "Pleased to meet you." Bella seemed to choke on air as she returned the handshake. She felt like she was spontaneously combusting into flames with the touch.
She was relieved he wasn't Judy's boyfriend. But at the same time, she hoped he was.
"Bella, are you alright? You look like you've seen a ghost..." Judy touched Bella's hand as she asked.
"SHIT YOU'RE BURNING HOT!" Judy exclaimed as she looked at Bella with surprise and concern etched in her features.
"I...I think I'm gonna go grab a coffee real quick." Bella immediately shot through the door.
"What's wrong with her?" Judy looked at the direction of the door.
"Maybe I look too hot for her to handle." Kane replied wiggling his eyebrows.
"Shut up you dingus. Go and take a shower. You stink." Judy ushered Kane inside the guest room as she chuckled.

"How to face the person you met and danced with in a club and ghosted and they are your bestfriend's cousin?"
Bella uttered to herself as she typed the words in her Google search while seated on her bed.

"Aah come on it's such an easy question" Bella threw her phone on her bed which in turn bounced back.
"NOO!!" Before Bella could react, the phone did a summersault up in the air and fell to the ground. Bella winced as she heard a crack.
