Zhan wakes to the scent of cinnamon and sunshine weaving through the open window.

He can also smell the rich aroma of coffee brewing and hears the soft clinking of a spoon against a ceramic mug.His eyes crackes open, and the first thing he sees is Yibo.

Yibo is sitting at the edge of the bed, his back to Zhan. He was humming a soft melody, stirring a steaming mug in his hands. He's wearing a soft shirt and his hair is tousled, sleepily falling over his forehead. Zhan can see the muscles in his back tense and relax as he stirs his coffee, and the way his shoulders slump slightly in what Zhan knows is a relaxed posture.

A small smile tugs at Zhan's lips. He loves watching Yibo in these quiet, unguarded moments. There's a tenderness to him that Zhan rarely sees when they're out in the world, a vulnerability that makes Zhan's heart clench with love.

Zhan closes his eyes again, savoring the sight of Yibo for a moment longer. He feels a surge of warmth and contentment wash over him. Just knowing that Yibo is there, so close, is enough to make Zhan happy.
