Alix's POV:
We've been walking for 10 minutes not to see a single zombie, or soldier from the army. Carly is leaning on my shoulders since I'm helping her walk. And Sierra is just walking. Me and her need to catch up.
Trish the leader of the 'Lions' has 3 her gaurds protections her like most leaders. But then she begins talking to Sierra.
Sierra's POV:
"I like your name, my niece is named Sarah she's 17, I think you too would get along." Trish says getting me out of my thought zone.
"Thanks, I would like to need another girl that's my age." I say smiling.
"We have plenty of families at our base with children and teens." Trish says.
"What's the catch?" Alix joins into our conversation.
"Everyone above the age of 15 has a job at the base so it can maintain. You guys will get jobs too." Trish replies.
"Fair enough." Alix says leaving the conversation.

We arrive at the base to see a gate, and a twenty feet tall electric fence. Two people inside the base pull a lever to open the gate allowing us to enter.
Once we enter we spot 2 roads that lead all the way to a 3 story fancy building. The roads has big houses on each side. I spot power lines on the houses leading to solar panels.
Inside the houses I see mothers and fathers with children running around playing.
I am shocked in amazement of this place.
"You guys will be have an interview with me in my mansion then you will recieve your own house."
"Our own house???" Alix asks surprised.
"Yes, and a job."
