The day after their reunion anniversary, Vittoria and Giulietta's three-month anniversary and Fire Chief Ross's proposal to Maya for the position of Battalion Chief, they'd gone to Alex's barbecue.
He and Ava had separated two months ago now, but he'd kept the house because it was his, he'd bought it before they became a couple.
They'd arrived at Alex's house with a double stroller, two cots and a huge changing bag.
-"Okay, I'm a little jealous I didn't manage to charm you... Your daughters are too beautiful, to think they could have been mine" he quipped as he let them into the house.
-"Technically speaking... The twins couldn't have been yours" replied Maya.
-"You don't know my will" he replied.
-"Would you have bought my eggs?"

- "Of course I do. We were pretty cute together."
- "What was that two minutes and twenty seconds about?" Maya asked.

Maya had arrived at the home of her friends Alex and Carina.Their three children had come to say hello to Maya. They saw Maya often, she was good friends with their mother and when their father went on a business trip, the blonde would come to keep her company.

-"Giulia, Blake, Alessandro, leave your aunt alone" replied Carina.

- "I think some weeks they see you more than me. If they start calling you Mum, I'll worry" Alex laughed.
-"You shouldn't leave your beautiful wife alone. Would you rather she spent her evenings alone than with her friends?"
- "As long as you don't take her to go and hit on some chicks with you, I'm fine with it".
- "I promise I'll never let anyone hit on your wife!

- "Where can I put this?"
