One Night || Bang Chan

A/N: heh. the second part of this chapter has been one of the scenes I was so excited to write! I hope you enjoy it!

i am sorry if this feels interlude-ish! We're like 3 chapters out until the climax of the story, so I'm doing my best to keep up the momentum of them bonding

So tired from all the traveling and emotions, Y/n doesn't wake up until a day and a half later. While she slept, Chan and Luca moved everything into the house but made sure they didn't shift anything, leaving the choice to rearrange and decorate to Y/n since it's her house now.

Hajoon visited but said he'd come back when Y/n was awake. Atsali stayed to assure Y/n wasn't bothered outside of Chan's comfort when he wasn't moving busy stuff. Surprisingly enough, Chan had stepped up while Y/n slept, helping the pups who visited the house that still smells so strongly of their grandmother and making sure everyone was fed and comfortable.

It's the smell of food that Y/n wakes up to, groaning at the pounding in her head. She sits up, clutching her head in confusion noticing that the room she's in isn't hers... technically.

The door opens and she blinks at the omega with amber hair.

"Um. Hello, Y/n-ssi," the omega bows. "Glad to see you're awake."

"Oh!" Y/n perks up. "It's Sujin, right?"

Sujin nods, smiling brightly from being acknowledged. "It is! Um- I- Well, first of all, thank you so much for allowing me to live here with Luca. It-It means a lot that you've welcomed me here."

"Oh," Y/n waves her off. "That's- It's nothing. You're family now, right?"

Sujin flushes but nods, averting her gaze. "I'm hoping to be... I know it's just courting but it's been a while since we've started, and I can't see myself with anyone else."

Y/n shrugs, shifting in bed to swing her legs over the edge. "Then you're part of the family, which means you're welcome here." She groans as she gets lightheaded from the shift in position. "Aish. How long have I been asleep?"

"For almost two days," Sujin grimaces, stepping further into the room. "I heard you groan as I passed by, so I wanted to check on you. Dinner is ready! You should eat before Hajoon-ssi visits again."

Y/n scowls at the reminder. "Right. Okay, thank you."

Y/n stands to her feet and squeezes her eyes shut to lessen the dots spotting her vision. Sujin rushes over to keep her upright and with her help, they head down to the first floor to eat, talking idly. Y/n is delighted to know about Luca and Chan being a big help with the move and makes a note to thank Chan for it. The alphas in the kitchen perk up at the sight of them, and Chan rushes forward to grab Y/n.

"Hey! You okay? What's wrong?" he frets, lifting her off her feet and settling her into a chair.

Y/n giggles, cupping his face. "Hello to you, too, Channie."

"Sorry," he smiles sheepishly, placing his hands over her to kiss her nose. "Hi, baby. How did you sleep?"

"Good but too long," Y/n sighs, leaning in to hug him and melting from his warmth. "My head hurts."

"Here," she glances to the side to see Jake slide her a plate of piping hot food. "Eat."

"Thank you," she mumbles but doesn't move from Chan's embrace. She greedily inhales his scent, rubbing her nose against his collarbone.
