sorry for the delay. words did not want to come to me for this chapter. i literally wrote and finished chapter 17 because I had motivation for this fic but not this chapter *cries* hate it here. enjoy though!!!

Aura village is an uproar of commotion as the wolves gather for the full moon. Y/n hasn't had a moment of peace since she woke up and she's contemplating her choice of alphas because of it.

Chan has been extra affectionate and possessive since the night before. Considering it's the full moon, Y/n isn't all that surprised, but since their first time last night, everything is even more heightened between them. It's hard keeping their hands to themselves all day. Y/n has much more control over it than Chan, and she's had to stop him from jumping her in several places in the house. Her brother and cousin do still live there, and when Chan remembers that, he backs off.

But it's still hard.

The full moon is and always will be powerful with its magnetic pull for freedom to its wolves, encouraging them to be in their purest forms and just be free. It's the best part of being a wolf, and Y/n cannot wait to experience it with Chan.

After fucking around (quite literally) all day, Y/n and her housemates head to her mother's house for dinner. Y/n has a tight grip on Chan's hand as they walk through the village. With the full moon comes stronger instincts, so everyone's eyes show who they are, but since Y/n has a pack alpha as a courting mate, his red alphan eyes are intimidating. She can't even use both of her hands to count how many alphas bow their heads in submission when they even glance at Chan for longer than two seconds. His aura is nothing like she's felt before.

Luca and Sujin are in stitches by the time they walk up her mother's porch, poking at Chan.

"You didn't have to intimidate the entire village," Y/n rolls her eyes as Sujin knocks on the door.

Chan grins. "I didn't, but it's still fun."

She sighs as he lifts her hand and kisses the back of it. "Whatever."

"I'll see you guys later," Jake hugs Luca and Sujin before kissing Y/n's cheek and waving at Chan. "'M gonna go see my family."

"Be safe!" Y/n and Chan call out at the same time. They face each other with surprised expressions and Sujin snorts as Luca shakes his head.

"You two are disgusting," he mumbles.

"I'll be safe," Jake grins. "So safe. Promise."

Y/n swats at him but he dodges, rushing down the path.

Jia throws open the door a few seconds later with a smile Y/n hasn't seen in a long time and waves, her eyes glowing gold. "My puppies! You're here!"

Jia pulls her and Luca in for a hug, and Luca groans as she rocks them from side to side. "Umma, come on."

Y/n giggles, cuddling into her mother's neck and inhaling her hazelnut and neroli scent. "Hi, Mama."

Her scent is sweet and light, the clearest it's been in years, and Luca gets choked up with emotion as Jia rubs her hands up and down their backs.
