Chapter 21

Bria's pov:

i've been in Barcelona for 2 weeks now and today we playing against Girona,

we were all in the changing room waiting for time to pass as the manager spoke to us about tactics,

"the boys team are here apparently" Kiera said as she walked in,
"why? they wanna see how to win a game?" i asked making the girls all laugh,
"nah that's a violation" Lucy replied as she laughed,

"can't violate Liverpool men anymore so i gotta violate Barcelona men now" i said making them laugh,
"should be easier with the form Barcelona men are in at the moment" Aitana replied making me laugh,
"yeah Liverpool were annoyingly good" i said as they agreed,
"still glad they won the prem though" i added,
"same. couldn't watch city win it again" Kiera replied as the others agreed,

"so you nervous? your probably going to be subbed on today" Ona said as i shrugged,
"as long as i do my best i'll be fine" i replied as she nodded with a smile,
"and we've seen your best. Your an actual menace" Aitana said making me laugh as the others agreed,

after half an hour i went and sat on the bench with the rest of the subs as the starting 11 ran into the pitch,

i turned round to see some of the men's team before looking back at the pitch as the whistle was blown,

at the 23rd minute Barcelona had scored making us all cheer,

at half time the score was 1-0 to us,

however once the second half started Girona got one back making our spirits drop slightly,

then on the 56th minute i was told i was being subbed on so i took my jacket and joggers
off leaving me in my jersey and shorts before warming up,

i could feel some of the boys watching me warm up, i presumed it was because i hadn't met them yet and they also hadn't seen me play in person before,

Curtis' pov:

me, Trent, Dom, Harvey, Missy and Sofie were all sat in Trent's living room with the Barcelona game on,

"Bria's coming on!!" Missy said with excitement as Bria walked up to the touchline,

"It looks like Liverpools ex-captain Bria Hinds is going to make her debut for Barcelona!" the commentator said,
"she was Liverpools key player last season so it'll be interesting to see whether she can turn this game around for Barcelona" another commentator said as she ran onto the pitch,

within 10 minutes she had already made a massive impact, she had assisted another goal making Barcelona take the lead again,

once it got to the 89th minute we presumed the game would end 2-1,

that was until Lucy Bronze did an unreal cross to Bria who then shot the ball from out of the box straight into the back of the net making everyone cheer,

"what a goal for Bria Hinds on her debut!!! teams around the world wanted this player and she has proven why!" the commentator said making me smile as she is finally getting the recognition she deserves,

to celebrate, Bria ran to the camera and shouted the words "you'll never walk alone" before kissing the camera lense and making a heart with her hands towards the fans,

"once a red always a red" Trent shrugged as we agreed.

Bria's pov:

the game ended 3-1 making us cheer once the whistle was blown,

"come on i'll introduce you to the boys" Lucy said before taking me over,

"hey guys this is Bria, our newest weapon" Lucy said making me laugh,
"hey i'm Joao" Joao Felix said,
"hey nice to meet you" i replied before hugging him,
"hi i'm Pablo, but because there's two of us you can call me Gavi" a guy with dark hair said making me giggle before hugging him,
