Chapter 19

Bria's pov:

Today is the day of the parade,

both teams are currently out the front of the training centre waiting for the buses to arrive,

Curtis had both his arms over my shoulders as he leant on the wall and i leant back on him,

"these buses are taking forever" i complained as the others agreed,
"yeah i thought they'd be here by now" Trent replied,
"would you rather fight a t-rex sized chicken or a chicken sized t-rex?" Curtis asked making the other look at him confused,

"t-rex sized chicken" Missy replied,
"why?" i asked,
"because chickens just mind their own business you know, where as a t-rex would go for you" she said,
"yeah but you could just boot the t-rex to a different universe, couldn't do that with the massive chicken" Harvey replied as Missy shrugged and the buses pulled in,

"thank god they're here" i said making the others laugh before standing up straight and moving so i was stood next to Curtis,

"right well we'll see you guys after" Missy said to the boys before heading to our bus,

"have fun" i said to Curtis before pecking his lips,
"you too" he replied with a wink before i walked over to the girls bus,

as soon as we got on the bus we poured ourselves some drinks before the music started,

after about 15 minutes of driving it was safe to say there was a huge crowd,

when One kiss started playing the crowd went even more mental,

me and Missy started jumping and singing the song before i realised there was a microphone so i obviously grabbed it,

"come on virg captain karaoke" i said into it making all the boys turn round and look at our bus laughing,
"you know i don't sing Bria" Virgil replied using the microphone they also had,
"come on don't be boring, everyone boo him" i said before everyone started booing him making the teams crease up,

"okay okay fine fine" Virgil said before he started singing to One kiss, i then joined in making everyone cheer,

"come Vice captains you know you wanna get involved" i said before passing the microphone to Missy who also started singing,
"come on Trent" she said before Trent then started singing too,

"god whatever you do don't give the microphone to Curtis" i said making the crowd and the teams laugh,
"Curtis you gonna accept that slander?" Virgil asked before putting the microphone to Curtis' mouth,
"uh yes" he replied making us laugh,
"he knows who's boss" Missy said making me laugh,

after hours the parade was finished and we arrived back at the training centre,

we got off the buses and went inside to wait for the roads to clear before heading home,

"come to mine" Curtis said to me as he walked next to me,
"okay, saves me paying for an uber" i replied as he fake gasped making me laugh,

we waited a few hours in the canteen talking before being told the roads were now clear,

Curtis ordered an Uber as we had both had a drink,

once the uber arrived we said our goodbyes before heading to Curtis' house,

"can we get a Chinese for dinner?" i asked making him smirk,
"hm depends" he replied,
"depends on what?" i asked,
"dunno haven't decided yet" he said making me playfully roll my eyes as he laughed,
