"Eleven, get back here!" Rylie shouted, sliding out of the driver's seat as she watched the fourteen year old run back into the building. "Eleven Hopper!" She yelled, groaning when the girl didn't stop. She turned to Nancy, throwing the keys at her. "Get ready to drive." Was the only thing she said before chasing after Eleven. Rylie ran past the front desk and slid into the elevator just as the doors were closing.

"You're bad at listening." She huffed, glowering at the younger girl.

"I will not leave them to be hurt."

Rylie shook her head, sighing. "Fair enough, kid."

The elevator was slower than Rylie wanted but soon they were on the third floor, running down the hallway toward a sound that Rylie could only explain as metal hitting wood. They found Jonathan slamming an air canister into a locked door. Rylie pushed him out of the way, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched as Eleven threw the door open with her powers. Eleven rushed in, Jonathan and Rylie standing just behind her. There stood a smaller version of what Will had drawn of the 'Mind Flayer' the past November. Except it wasn't made of smoke, it wasn't dark at all, it was made of. . .something alive. Like a red goop. . .muscle maybe?

"Oh shit." Rylie breathed out as Justin grabbed both Eleven's and her hands and pulled them away from the door.

"What the fuck- What the fuck- I'm never listening to you again about a story, Byers!" Justin yelled, tripping on her feet as she stumbled back from the room. Eleven pulled away from Justin, throwing her hand into the air. She threw the creature into the wall. "Holy fuck!" Justin yelped.

El threw the meat flayer into the opposing wall, yelling, before throwing it into the roof and down on the ground. It got up and ran toward the four of them, but Eleven threw both her arms up and launched it out the window. The sound of glass shattering echoed the night.

"Go!" Eleven yelled, rushing down the hallway. Justin was fast after her, along with Rylie and Jonathan. They took two steps at a time down the stairwell, finding their way out of a side door and into open air. The monster that Eleven had thrown was a puddle of crawling red mush on the concrete. It creeped its way toward a vent in the ground, slurping its way into the sewer system, leaving nothing but a couple bones

Rylie huffed when nobody was moving, shoving the three of them in between their shoulder blades to push them toward the car where Nancy sat with the engine running. Eleven, Justin and Jonathan all slid into the middle row of seats, Rylie making her way into the passenger seat and slamming the door. She looked at Nancy, hissing out a single word with a sharp glare. "Go."
