Episode 5

Jungkook and his mom settled well in Kim mansion, taehyung's parents didn't make them feel like guests but they were treated like family

Currently Jungkook was sitting in the living room with files all around him, tomorrow is his first day of office although taehyung told him to join after some days but he was determined to join asap

It's past 1 at night, he keeps yawning continuously but there are still some files left, he had asked taehyung to help him get some idea about what work he is gonna do so he gave him these file....they turned out to be really helpful

He was sitting crossed leg on the floor in front of the table looking at the file with concentration

Taehyung was passing through the living room with a bottle of water when he saw Jungkook.....head on the table over the files and hands sprawled besides his head. The position was kinda uncomfortable

Taehyung chuckled at the small boy who was trying to burden himself with responsibilities whereas he wasn't meant to be burdened

He was a like a fragile piece of glass meant to be protected from this dark world just like now.....his face illuminated by the moonlight making him shine, one of his cheek squished by the pages and his lips turned into a pout......he looked serene

Taehyung was in a daze

He didn't notice how he reached the boy and knelt before him and he definitely didn't intend to caress his cheek, the skin was smooth as usual but today he felt it more....that softness made him want to do something, want to absorb it in himself

The thought made taehyung retreat his hand quickly as if he got burned

He slapped his cheeks with both hands

"It's nothing it's nothing...calm down tae"

After calming himself down he took a deep breath and shook Jungkook gently

"Kook get up"

Jungkook let out a soft groan and squirmed

"Jungkook go to the room and sleep you will have neck pain if you slept like this"

"Mmmm carry me" Jungkook muttered making the other's eyes widen

"W-what.....kook get up" taehyung shook him again this time a little hard

Jungkook opened his droopy eyes finally and looked at him

"Taetae?? What are you doing in my room and why is my neck paining"

Taehyung looked at him blankly making him remember where he was, he gasped

"Oh sh*t the files"

Taehyung stopped him and said

"Shhh don't worry about them now, go and sleep we have to leave at 8:30"

"But taetae 2 files are left"

"Just read them in office but not now"

Jungkook stared at taehyung collecting the files spread on the table, how selflessly he supported them in hard times. He could simply let them be on their own and continue with his life but no he stayed....with them, with him.
