Jungkook was biting his nails when he heard Taehyung
"Why are you nervous?"
Yes he was nervous, they were on their way to home and Jungkook was getting more and more anxious as to what excuse are they gonna put forward to defend their absence for a whole night

Taehyung liked the sound
"Hey no need to torture your nails for that we will tell them Jin hyung invited us"
"Huh? That simple?" Jungkook questioned
Taehyung stayed quiet for a moment
"Everything is simple bun, it's just us who makes it complicated" he uttered to make Jungkook confusion
Jungkook didn't want to relate his statement with something else so he brushed it aside but deep down he knew what that was about
"We didnt answer any of their calls what about that?"
"Just don't be nervous ok I will handle it" taehyung said and again focused on driving
"Why?....why will you handle everything for me?"
Taehyung chuckled at the question
"Because I don't want to let any problem come near you"
Jungkook's heard his heart thumping loudly
"W-would it..." Jungkook swallowed hard and taehyung waited for him to complete the sentence
"Would it still be the same if I wasn't j-jimin hyung's brother?" He asked with hesitation
Taehyung looked straight at the road like there was nothing except for the road in front of him, Jungkook looked at him in anticipation waiting desperately for his answer and then he did answer
"Without a single doubt"
Jungkook gripped the seat belt tightly let out a gaspy breathe and looked outside
After that they didn't say anything else

As soon as they entered the house the three entities ran towards them as if they were waiting for them only
They hugged them first and then started to scold them
"Ow mommm it wasn't my fault" Jungkook winced when Mrs jeon pulled his ear
"I called you 51 times do you know how worried I was"
Taehyung was gonna come to his rescue when his own ear was grabbed
"Mom let me say something please leave me it hurts"
Mrs Kim left him
"Start"
Jungkook breathed in relief when his ear was also released
