Jungkook nervously shuffles at the corner of the pond, he’s only covered by a thin robe. Underneath he’s fully naked as this ceremony is supposed to take place while both the queen and king are devoid of any clothing on their person to help increase the intimacy between them. Damn, their ancestors for such forced traditions but also not because this used to work fairly well in earlier days.

“Oh, my moon.”

He gasps as soon as he enters the pond, the water is warm despite the slightly cooler weather but that isn’t what pulled this reaction out of him. It was the way the thin veil stuck to him accentuating his frames, mapping every curve and glide in a way that appears lewd.

He buries himself neck into the water and goes around a big stone situated right in the middle of the pond. It provides a wall underneath the water so if anyone wishes they could sit on it or get behind to hide their torso while their face is above water. Fairly well method to conceal their decency and he’s thankful.

Taehyung had told him to go there first and make himself comfortable, and he’d reach there after a few seconds he had promised to not see Jungkook if he didn’t like it, he wasn’t able to deny the polite offering considering he would very much die of shame if he had to be this obscene in front of the king.

Now as he runs his hand through the crystal clear pond and surroundings devoid of any person on the mountain or temple. His heart tells him Taehyung somehow had made sure about their privacy.

He hears footsteps and with a gasp, he drowns half his face under the water, the warm water does nothing to cool down his flaming cheeks when he sees the king walking clad in nothing but a thin towel covering his decency. Torso fully devoid of any fabric all out for Jungkook to ogle upon those delicious muscles. Jungkook wants to get a feel.

What warms Jungkook’s heart isn’t Taehyung’s cognitive charm, but the blindfold he’s done on his eyes. Kim Taehyung, The alpha of Arzhel, his king, the one they call the red beast of Crimson Land, is such a beautiful soul and a charming man by heart. He’s the man of his word, when he said he wouldn’t kiss Jungkook without his permission, he kept it. When he said he wouldn’t look at Jungkook in the pond if that made him comfortable, he meant it.

“Taehyung! It’s slippery there.”

Taehyung stops in his tracks, a few seconds away from planting his feet near the slippery marble he won’t be able to see, because he’s done a blindfold god damn it if that doesn’t make Jungkook swoon.

“Well thank you dearest, I wouldn’t know what I'd do without you.”

Jungkook rolls his eyes with his cheeks pinkening at the alpha’s flattering. Always so charming.

“You survived just fine without me all these years my king.”

“Emphasis on survived. ”

Taehyung puts his hand on his chest as he sits on the stairs of the pond, feigning a wound as though hurt, and Jungkook fucking giggles at the king’s dramatics. Ruthless king pfft, more like a dumb wolfy.

“Right, what would you even do without me Taehyung?”

Jungkook says with an eye roll, sass prominent in his tone. Taehyung laughs but it’s dark, not his usual goofy laugh, there’s a dark edge in his timber.

“Well, let’s not find out. Everyone would appreciate that.”

Jungkook shivers and blames it on the cold breeze. Definitely not Taehyung’s deep voice

The water sloshes in the pond as Taehyung swims forward slowly, hands in front mapping out the stone. He might’ve come here before as a prince but not blindfolded so he seems to know there’s a stone but without sight, he doesn’t know where. Jungkook’s brain conjures up an idea.
