Chapter 11: Understanding

*Klaus's pov*
The worst thing is I thought I was with Elena. I thought she was Elena but obviously I was wrong. Now I have lost Elena forever unless I tell her.

I'm going to tell Elena what really happened I hope she believes me. I love her with all of my heart and I am not going to give up on her.

Elena's Pov*
I woke up and I saw mascara stains on my pillow from last night from where I was crying. I look in the mirror and I look like a wreck!

I read the note from Rebecca and I smiled a little, she has always been there for me in though times.

I don't know why Klaus did this I thought he loved me. I get in the shower and once I'm finished I get changed and go downstairs to make some breakfast.

Suddenly I hear the doorbell ring. I open it up and there stands Klaus. I try to close the door on his face but his foot blocks the way "Elena love let me explain" "explain how you cheated on my with that bitch!" "Elena let me in and I will tell you the story" "I don't want to hear it Klaus I'm heart broken" "let me in Elena."

I sigh and open the door and I sit on the couch and Klaus sits next to me. I feel really nervous and I don't know what to say. "Elena, I was stupid to do this but I thought Tatia was you she knocked on the door and acted like you she said she loved me and then she started to kiss me. Elena I would never cheat on you purposely" after that big speech I didn't know what to do. I believed him, so I turned to look at him to see he was looking right back at me.

I pressed my lips against his and he automatically kissed back while wrapping his arms around my waist. I pulled him more closer to me and he pulled away.

"I love you Elena Gilbert and nothing is ever going to change that" "I love you to just don't do it again okay?" He smiled and nodded.

Tatia's pov*
I don't feel anything for Klaus and Elijah I am just stringing them along. I also wanted Elena to feel jealous so I slept with Klaus obviously acting like I was Elena.

Anyway I was brought back by Klaus's mother Esther to kill the originals. She gave me the white oak stake so when the time is right I will kill all of them including Klaus's special girlfriend Elena.

Unfortunately I heard Klaus and Elena are back together so I have to make the plan happen soon.

Elena's pov*
I am so happy we are back together but I am a bit annoyed that he is still letting Tatia live with them. I don't trust her at all!

Klaus said he was going back home so I decided to text Rebecca.

To Rebecca: Hey Beks me and Klaus are back together and he explained everything about what happened<3

From Rebecca: Oh my god I am so happy for you, I was so upset when you two broke up. Can we go shopping?! :D

To Rebecca: I know same here and YES! Let's go shopping x

From Rebecca: I'll be there in 10 :)

I quickly brushed my hair and applied mascara and lipgloss. Rebecca came over and we just hang out in the mall all day and had a cupcake.

When I arrived home I went into my room and saw Klaus sitting on my bed. I walked over to him, smiled and said "hey babe" "hello love how was your day with my sister?" "It was good now my day has gotten even better now you're here" "oh really?" He smirked "yes really."

I got changed into my pjs and got under neath the covers with Klaus. I cuddled into his chest and he kissed the top of my head while playing with my hair. I'm so glad I am with this man I love him so much with all of my heart.

"Night Klaus I love you" "I love you to goodnight love" I fell asleep in the arms with the man I want to be with forever.
