Chapter 8: Birthday

Today it's my birthday! I am 19 years old I can't believe it. I am going to go to Klaus's house. I get up and get changed. I brush my hair, brush my teeth and do my makeup. I check myself in the mirror.

I walk out of my house then get in my car. I park up outside the house and walk to the door. I knock and Rebecca opens up and squeals saying "Happy birthday Elena I got you presents come in!" She grabs me by the arm and drags me in "okay okay you can let go now Beks" she lets go and says "sorry to excited" we both laugh and walk inside the living room.

There I see Kol, Elijah and... Klaus boy he looks hot! I walk over sit next to him and kiss him on the lips "happy birthday love" I smile and Kol and Elijah say happy birthday to.

Rebecca gives me her present first and says "open it then" I laugh. I open it up and it's the Katy Perry Killer Queen perfume and some mac makeup. I squeal, jump up and give Rebecca a hug. Elijah gives me his present, I open it and it's a gold necklace it's beautiful. I smile and give him a hug.

Oh no Kol is next he gives me a smirk and gives me my present. I open it and there is Victoria Secret bra and underwear. I blush and everyone laughs. I mouth a 'thank you' he winks.

Last but not least Klaus. Before I can say anything he says "love we are going out tonight there I can give you your present" I smile and give him a quick kiss on the lips.

I say "thank you all so much for the gifts I'll love them all" "YOUR WELCOME!" They shout. I co.ver my ears and they laugh.

I told them I was going to go home to get ready for me and Klaus's date. Unfortunately Rebecca can't help me because she is going on a date with Matt which is so cute, they really go well together.

I get in the shower and wash my hair. I put on some Lush body butter and moisturised my body. I stepped out of the shower and out my robe on. I brush my hair and blow dry it. I curl my hair and put it to one side. I put on some foundation,eyebrows,nude eye look,winged eyeliner,mascara,blush and pink lipgloss. I put on my dress. It's red and ends above my knee. I put on my black heels and check the time.

Klaus should be here in any minute I rush downstairs and grab my purse suddenly I hear the doorbell ring so I walk to the door.

I open it and it's.... Stefan 'great' I thought to myself. "What do you want?" I spat at him. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry and happy birthday" "well I'm not sorry and thanks" I go to shut the door but he puts his foot between it and says "why are you all dressed up?" "Is it any of your business and if you must know I'm going on a date!" I say laughing. He looks angry and says "with KLAUS!!!" I am started to get annoyed. "YES WITH KLAUS NOW GO AWAY STEFAN I HATE YOU!!!" He walks away and huffs something I smirk to myself.

Suddenly I hear the bushes ruffle I turn to look and see Klaus I laugh and he smirks looking t me up and down I blush a little. "You look beautiful my love you ready?" He holds his arm out I smile and take his arm I say "thank you and you don't look so bad yourself" he smiles and opens the car door for me.

I smile when I'm in the car. "Where are we going Klaus?" "It's a secret love" "tell me please" "nope" I huff and he laughs and I couldn't help but smile.

He stops the car and we are near the woods. I look at him comfused he just smirks and vampire speeds to the door and holds his hand out I take it and shut the door behind me.

We keep on walking until we see a waterfall and there was a picnic table on the floor with food and wine. There was lights on the trees. I smile and turn to him before he could say anything.

I kiss him hard on the lips and snake my arms around his neck and his arms around my waist. I pull back and say "I love it Klaus thank you" "anything for you my love come lets eat."

We sit down on the picnic table and start to eat the pasta. Klaus pits some wine and gives some to me. I smile and start to drink.

After the food Klaus packs the food away in the picnic bag and takes my hand. We walk towards the waterfall and I smile. "It's beautiful Klaus how did you know it was here?" "I used to come here when I was a child love it was my favourite place" this is the good in Klaus I knew he had it somewhere in him. "That's nice do you ever want to be human again Klaus?" He turns to look at me cups my chin and says "one time I wanted to be human but I can live forever love now why would I want to give that up?" I smile and say "I guess you're right at least you get to live forever" I say depressed because I know one day I'm going to die and not be with Klaus anymore.

He strokes my cheek and says "Elena one day you will have a choice to be a vampire and when that day comes I will be there for you all the way do you understand me?" I didn't realise there was a tear running down my cheek until he wiped it away.

I smile and nod my head. He kisses my forehead and grabs my hand to walk back to the car. We get inside and the radio comes on. It's Diana Vikers 'my wicked heart' I sing along and Klaus smiles at me.

He drops my back at my house and we walk to my porch I turn to him and say "thank you so much for today Klaus this is officially the best birthday ever!" I laugh near the end of my sentence. He chuckles and whispers in my ear "anything for you."

He pulls back and looks at me straight in the eye. All of a sudden I felt this sudden urge to kiss him so I did. I put my arms around his neck and pushed my lips against his. They start to move I sync and his arms are around my neck. I never wanted this moment to end.

He pulled back and leaned his forehead against mine and says "I love you Elena Gilbert" "and I love you Klaus Mikealson." He pecks me on the lips and walks back to his car.

He drives off and I smile and walk into my house. After getting changed into my pjs and wiping of my makeup. I climb into bed and text klaus saying goodnight.

I fall into a deep sleep.
