I love the Enemy (Elena and Klaus love story)

Chapter 18: Finding out the genders

The past couple of weeks have been normal and calm. Me and Klaus have been going out a lot to restaurants and he even took me out to the beach yesterday but today we are finally going to find out the gender of the twins. I am hoping it's going to be a boy and a girl but Klaus wants two boys a very typical man.

I woke up next to Klaus and I quickly got in the shower and washed my hair. My stomach cramps have been becoming more worse and the bump on my belly is very noticeable now.

I walk out of the shower and dry my self and put on my pink robe. I walk back into our bedroom and Klaus is still asleep. I walk up to the bed next to him and kiss him on the cheek. He immediately wakes up and he smiles at me, I say "hey today we are going to find out the genders" "I know live I can't wait" "me either I'm going to get ready now so you get ready to" I miss him on the lips and walk to one of the draws.

I pu out a hair dryer and dry my hair, I curled it and put on a little bit of makeup. I changed into some black leggings and a red top saying flawless with white converse. On top I out on my black leather jacket.

I walk downstairs and I see Klaus in the kitchen he turns around and sees me an hugs me. I grab a banana and have some milk.

After breakfast Klaus gets into the car with me and we drive to the hospital. The radio was on really loud and I was singing my heart out and Klaus was laughing at me. I hit his arm playfully and he smirks at me.

We arrive outside of the hospital and we park up the car. I close the car door and Klaus locks it. We walk into the entrance and walk to the reception area like we did last time.

"Hello I am having another check up on my twins I'm Elena Gilbert" the woman smiles and looks at her computer then back up at me saying "please this way" she motions for me and Klaus to follow her.

We walk into one of the hospital rooms and I feel really excited. Klaus is smiling and that's what makes me feel even more happier.

I lay on the chair and pull up my top to the beginning of my bump. The woman smiles at me and I nod because she is asking for permission. She puts the gel on my belly and rubs it around with the scanner.

Me and Klaus look at the screen and see two figures of the twins and we both smile at each other. After 5 minutes the nurse takes of the scanner and wipes of the gel.

She turns to look at us and says "both of the twins are healthy and well" "that's great" me and Klaus both say in sync and we laugh. "Now do you want to know the gender of the twins?" "Yes please" I say.

"The gender of the twins are a boy and a girl!" She's says cheerfully. I am so happy. I always wanted to have a boy and a girl. I turn to Klaus and he kisses my forehead and whispers in my ear "I promise you with my life Elena we will take care of our children" I feel tears of joy in my eye and I kiss him.

We say thank you to the nurse and walk out of the hospital to our car. While we are in the car I texted Damon, Stefan, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Kol and Elijah what the genders the twins are and that they are healthy and well.

When we get to the Mikealson mansion I am going to make sure I tell Beks face to face she is going to be thrilled.

We park outside of the house an get out of the car. Klaus takes my hand in his and we walk back into our house. I open the door and see Rebecca she smiles brightly and says "what are the genders?!" "They are a boy and a girl!" "OH MY GOD! ELENA THATS AMAZING I CANR WAIT TO SPOIL THM BOTH!" I laugh and we talk about the twins for the rest of the day.

Everyone said congratulations and I am happy because I haven't lost anyone and we are all still friends no matter what we have been through. I said Rebecca is going to be the godmother to my children and she literally started jumping up and down, Klaus and Kol thinks he has gone crazy!

We had an amazing dinner that Rebecca and Klaus made us. It was a roast dinner but I had orange juice with it instead of wine and blood. After I have had my children I want to become a vampire and live with my family forever.

Because Klaus is a hybrid and I'm a human this means my children will be a quarter human, a quarter werewolf and half vampire which I don't mind because they will live with us forever to.

After dinner Elijah washes the dishes and we all sit down and watch some romantic movies and horror movies which scared the hell out of me. Every time a scary scene or anything like that would come on I would scream really loud and jump on Klaus and put the blanket all over me.

This is why I never watched horror films as a kid and an adult because of what happens.

After the movies Klaus says "Elena love we should get some sleep especially you because you are pregnant love" "alright let's go goodnight Rebecca, goodnight Kol and goodnight Elijah" "goodnight" they say in sync and we walk up to our bedroom to get some sleep.

I lay next to Klaus and say "I love you" "I love you to" he kisses me and I kiss back. After a few minutes I pull back and snuggle into his chest while he hugs me around my waist.

I fall asleep very quickly.
