A Date With Lt. Bradshaw

"Hey you look great!" He greeted you, putting his arm around your shoulder.
"Oh stop!" You playfully punched him.

"What? I can't compliment my girl?" He sarcastically asked. Which made you laugh.

"What do you have planned tonight Mr. Bradshaw?" You asked him with a smile. He has asked you out, even though you were already dating. He always put thought into your dates before you were official, so you were curious what he was up to.

"Something fun." He answered proudly, glancing at you. "I can't say much or else I'll probably give it away!" He laughed.

He drove you to a fancy restaurant downtown, "Brad, this is expensive!" You reminded him as he parked his Bronco in the parking lot.

"I know." He replied, grabbing your hand and leading you inside.

You sat down at a booth and ordered some wine while you browsed the menu.

"Tonight," he started to say, "-whatever you want, I'll pay." He promised.

"Aw you're sweet." You answered, leaning across the table and kissing him.

"After we eat, I want to check out the lights in the park," he said, you nodded. You had been wanting to see them too.

After you ate

"To the park!" You playfully rejoiced when you made it back to the car, "The park!" Bradley replied, equally excited.

You turned the radio up loud, a fast paced country song was playing and you both sang your hearts out.

When you got to the park, the lights were beautiful. And there was nobody around, it was strange. But very romantic, a perfect top off to your date.

You guys strolled through the park, taking pictures and laughing. You held tight to Bradley's arm, feeling safe.

Bradley stopped a moment and faced you. You stopped as well.

"You okay hon?"
"I need to ask you something because I can't hold it in anymore." He stated, as he bent down to one knee.....
