"thanks for the ride" mara mutters for the second time, "she might be sick if you guys weren't here" she continued as her hand gently strokes the child's fluffy hair. it was raining, and if experience had taught them anything, is that rain causes sickness.

"of course" amato cooed with a smug, "pian here has a strange need to tag me along for his driving practices see? and of course he wanted to stroll infront of our old school, maybe he can sense- OUCH!" amato loudly yelps when the boy mentioned in his story suddenly pinched his shoulder, humouring the guests behind.

"that's enough amato, I feel like you're forgetting that I'm in control here" the blond chuckled, sending an eerie shiver down amato's spine, "c'mon now, you wouldn't wanna kill multiple innocent souls and go to jail, would you?" the black-haired college student faked a gasp. "I'm sure my father can arranged that" pian smirked, finally putting his humbleness aside.

"that's enough, I swear if wawa ends up taking a leaf out of this then.." mara motions her finger from one sided of her neck to the other and in an instant, the two boys gulped. "o-of course not mara! is wawa hungry? I'm sure pian wouldn't mind treating us lunch!" amato nudged his bestfriend, earning a quick death glare before the blond speaks up, "ye-yeah! I know a nice place we can go too-"

mara glances at her sister, who nodded hopefully and sighed, "I'm sure my mum wouldn't mind if we got lunch." she agreed.

"FREE FOOD!!"

"with or without the hat?" pian asked as he switches from putting his hat on and taking it off, "you look better without it" amato suggested with a shrug, before ruffling the blond's hair and making it look more like his unkept black hair. "stop! my hairdresser spent a long time styling this!!" pian protested and laughed heartily along with amato, "well he has to spend a longer time styling it because I think you look better like this!" the black-haired argued playfully.

"I feel like I can cripple up and die and you guys still wouldn't come out to eat" mara's melodic voice interrupts, her hands twisted on eachother in disapproval. she was met with a set of apologies before being helped by her sister to get out of the car. with the weather now a pleasant hue of blue, mara let out a sigh of relief. "thank goodness pian is smart enough to park close to the restaurant" amato commented with a simple smile.

"and thank goodness amato is still useless and served no purpose other than spending my money" pian replied with the same smile, "don't feel the need to correct it as your father's money?"

"we should've booked a taxi..."

"I can't believe you tried to order currypuffs" pian sighed, "this is a portuguese bistro for goodness's sake!" amato remained unfaze at the louder tone pian used, "chef garamse had currypuffs!" amato argued back.

"he's italian-malaysian of course he has currypuffs!"

amato raised his eyebrow, "that's the same as portuguese!" pian also raised his eyebrow, "someone failed geography" he scoffed. "well I'm sorry, I couldn't travel the whole world like you!!" amato glared, before having a change of heart when his meal arrived. the black-haired awed at stew pian had ordered for him to save him the embarrassment.

"what stew is this?" he asked, with eyes twiced it's normal size. "molha de carne" pian answered as he eats his own food quietly. "must be good to have a portuguese mother huh? you'll know all about this tasty dish!" amato complimented at he hurriedly eats the stew, "my mother is french you dumb twat" amato faked a gasp, "not infront of poor innocent wawa!"

as if finally realising the other two's existence, pian glances to the side, "is it good?" he asked nonchalantly. mara nodded, "I hope it was fun bickering like an old married couple" she later added.

"him? as a married man? mara adalia, he can barely functions as a man alone!" pian scoffed and this time, amato's gasp was real.

"EXCUSE ME PIAN DESTAR?!?"

sighing, mara reminds herself, this is why she rarely talk with them anymore. college alone was hectic, but their dynamic was another level and honestly, everyone was tired.
