Haseena is Fired

Haseena? Haseena!
For god's sake, please get up now?

Haseena was lying on the bed sleeping deeply while furious Mairaa was standing in front of her, trying to wake her up. She tried shaking her body, patting her cheeks and back, but nothing worked for Haseena. 

MS- How is this possible? 2 baj rahe hai aur Haseena abhi Tak uthi nai? Jo subah 6 baje se ready rehti thi?
Haseena please get up?
Santosh yeh tumhara kaam hai?

SS- Of course not Mamma!
Yaar... Kal Haseena ka upar bhookham bhi aa jayega aapko lagega yeh Mera kaam hai!

MS- Aise toh baat mat Karo. Mai tumhe tumse jayda ache se jaanti hun.
Ab Issey uthaye kaise?

SS- Let me try.

Santosh, with great pressure, brings a bucket of water and attempts to pour down the bucket over Haseena. But instead of pouring over her, Santosh partly pours the bucket but also falls over her, making the whole bed wet. Haseena wakes up and jumps out of bed in shock and slips on the water-filled floor, hurting her body.

HM- What the hell! Aaahhhhhhh! Santosh Sharma yeh kya harkat hai?

SS- Time dekh Rahi hai aap? Its 2 p.m.

HM- What?

Haseena glances at the clock. When she swiftly got from the bed at 2:15 p.m., Mairaa was the first one to look at her harshly. Respectfully, Haseena lowers her chin.

HM- I am so sorry ma'am. I ...

MS- I don't want your explanation Haseena or better say your excuses. Humne clearly kaha tha  ek din bhi apne kaam se laparwahi nai chalegi. Aur aapna wohi Kiya.

HM- I don't have any explanations for this Maddam. Its my fault.

MS- I don't care about it. Aap yeh bataiye ab iski larpahai kaise karengi aap? Subah se 5 meeting thi Santosh ki, woh miss ho gayi. Aapko pta hai entertainment industry mein meetings ki kitni value rehti hai? Har ek role important hota hai aur aapki zimmedari hoti hai Santosh ko uss roles ke liye ready rakhna. But aap khud ko dekhiye. Jo insaan khud itna irresponsible hai woh kya yeh secretary ki job kar payegi, jisme sabse jyada importance responsibility ki hoti hai.
We can't trust you Haseena Mallik.
You are fired!

SS- What? Mom aap ek baar uski baat toh suniye.

MS- Mere beech mein mat bolo Santosh. Aur tum bhi yahi chahti thi naa. You were right. Miss Mallik you can leave.

HM-  I apologise, Maddam. Today, I'm quitting this job. I sincerely appreciate your help over the past few days.

Mairaa nods and leaves the room. Haseena just looks down in defeat.

SS- Hey! Tumne bataya kyu nai ki tumhari tabiyat kharab thi?

HM- Humari tabiyat kal hi theek ho gayi thi. Humari galati thi.

SS- Ek minute meri taraf dekhkar baat karogi? Tum unme se nai ho Jo neeche dekh kar baat kare. Tum aakh se aakh milakar baat karti thi Haseena. Where is your confidence?

HM- Aapko kya takleef ho Rahi hai Miss Sharma? You must be very happy, right? Jo chahiye tha woh mil Gaya. Congratulations aapki Jaan chuthi humse. Ab aap please jaiye. Hume aapki aaj bhar ki arrangements karne dijiye fir hum nikal jayenge iss Ghar se.

After moving away from Santosh, Haseena opens the cabinet, grabs her laptop, and begins to use it.

HM- Aapka shoot kitne baje hai?

SS- Ek ghante mein.

HM- Okay.

After fifteen minutes Haseena closes her laptop and takes a deep breath.

HM- Aapko humne Aaj ka schedule send kar Diya hai. Abse you are on your own. Ab aapko hume jhelna nai hoga so this is the last schedule I am sending you. Now please excuse me. I have to pack my bags.

SS- Look, Miss PA.

HM- I said excuse me please.

SS- Tumhari problem pta hai kya hai, tumhe dusro ki help chahiye hi nai khud sab karke superhuman Banna hai right?

HM- Aap yeh sab bahar jaakar soch lijiyegaa.

Enraged, Santosh exits the room and furiously shuts the door, shocking Haseena.

SS- Kamal hai ek taraf madad karne ki koshish Karo dusri taraf attitude bhi tum hi Khao.
Khair mujhe kya, I wanted her to leave. Mai khud sab handle kar sakti hun.  Mamma ne Aaj kuch jayda hi suna Diya ussey. Galat baat hai. Ek baar samne Wale ki sun toh leti. Khair Indian Maa kabhi samne wali ki suni hai jo Aaj sun lengi?
I should speak to her.

Santosh approached Mairaa as she stood at the dining table.

MS- Aa gayi tum? Chalo khana Khao aur apni shoot ke liye niklo.

SS- Mamma, Haseena ki koi galti nai thi.

MS- Mujhey laparwah log nai pasand Santosh.

SS- Ek chance de do naa, mai bhi toh laparwah hun.

MS- Unfortunately tum meri  beti ho. Warna kabka tumhe bhi bahar nikal deti.

SS- Meri insult kyu karne lag gaye aap?

MS- Galat kya bola? Tumne pucha Maine bataya. Bas baat khatam.

SS- Agar abhi di hoti toh bhi...

MS- Santosh bas. Tum chup nai ho rahi toh koi baat nai mai Jaa Rahi hun. Bye.

SS- Arrey par suno toh...

Mairaa stands from her seat and goes to the room.

SS- Yaar yeh Mammi logon ko manana itna hard kyu hai? Baat sunne mein kya hi jaata hai? Par nai sunna hi nai hai. Aisa lagta woh humare bachee hai.

Haseena interrupted Santosh as she was taking a mouthful of her meal.

Santosh glances at Haseena, who is standing there carrying bags.

HM:-  I am going to leave, Miss Sharma. It was a pleasure to help you all along. Thank You.

Santosh shakes hands with Haseena.

SS- Thank You. And I am sorry for whatever happened.

HM- aapko maafi mangi aati hai? Pta nai tha. Anyways Its not your fault. Hum Mairaa Ma'am se milna chahate the jaane se pehle but she is busy. So please greet her from my side.

SS- Sure. Bye. But ek baar tum baat karke dekho toh shayad Mamma Maan jaaye.

HM- Kya manaye hum? Galti humari thi toh agar hum ab kuch kahenge toh unhe excuse hi lagega. Behtar hoga hum chale jaaye.

SS- And what about me? Mere se koi puch Raha hai mujhey kya chahiye yaa meri kya raay hai.

HM- Aapko toh humara kaam aur hum pehle se hi nai pasand the. Congratulations.
Shayad Mairaa Ma'am ko bhi samajh mein aa Gaya hoga ki aapko unke sivay koi jhel nai sakta.

SS- What the hell! Mai itni pyaar se baat kar rahi hun aur tum Haseena?
You know what, sahi Kiya Mamma ne! Better you go away. Bye.

Santosh storms out of the hall, and Haseena shrugs and walks out of the mansion.
