I quietly followed behind Saint; my witty comments gone. I called my mother to say that I'd be back later, and she seemed quite annoyed... But oh well. Saint did what he promised to do so now I have to do my part of the deal and clean his house.

Before when I had to pick him up here the houses around here seemed nice. I had even seen some kids playing in their front garden before the inedible happened and they were forced to go to school. Now I'm here again, following Saint to his home.

."Oh, by the way, it may take a while to clean, so you can spend an hour and leave."

I looked up to see his captivating brown eyes staring down at me as he continued to walk. I gave him a curt nod in response and looked around. The area wasn't terrible, just some nice houses and what seemed to be a park down the road in some field, the field was large and went into nearby woods. It was very pretty and the further you went the higher up a hill you would go.

Before I could observe anymore, I walked into something which could resemble a wall, if a  wall had clothes of course-. My eyes went wide but before I could react a strong pair of hands grabbed onto my hips. I quickly got my balance and cleared my throat awkwardly, looking up to find Saint with an amused expression.

"we're here," he said simply as he let go of me and walked through a small gate.

I feel my face heat up from embarrassment and what seems to be blush...? No... I cannot be blushing over Saint Lexington! God, I feel like an idiot as I keep my eyes on the floor, I follow through the gate, and I can't help my curiosity as I scan the overgrown front garden.

It's not the neatest but I can work with it, I just have to deal with Saint until we are told the school's reputation isn't in danger anymore or whatever.

I feel rough hands grab my arm which causes me to look up, "Don't go into the room at the end of the hall, other than that everything's fine."

I let out a calm nod to show I understand and watch as he opens the door with a key. I follow closely behind him and look around curiously, huh? It was quite big but very dirty...

My heart stopped as I heard a cat's signature meow, no way! I love cats, since when did this asshole have one?

"Is that a cat I hear?" I say with a subtle teasing tone, nudging him with my elbow which causes him to roll his eyes and grin. "Of course, it is darling, I'm guessing you're a fan?"

God, he sounds so smug, like he's bragging over a job or some shit.

"I have one actually, her name is Daphne. Named after the Daphne in Bridgerton of course." I strangely love seeing him let out a chuckle, maybe it's his dimples... Or maybe the way his eyes look.

"Nice name," he says sarcastically which causes me to cross my arms as we walk to what I presume to be the living room. "My little rascals called Greg," he grins as he turns his head to look at me. "Named after the place 'Gegs' of course."

I roll my eyes and let out a soft and short giggle, soon enough my eyes will fall out of my skull with all this rolling of eyes.

We make a turn into the living room and he sits down on the couch which has a  window next to it. That's when I see him... A basic-coloured tabby with such a loving face and fluffy fur. The cat purred softly and basked in the sun which came from the open window. My eyes light up in silent admiration, I wanted to hug the cutie so much I think my heart may stop from disappointment if I don't! I notice Saint's eyes lingering over my body and my face before silently grabbing the cat and cradling it almost like a baby.
