I didn't want her to be upset... I never wanted to see her upset. I thought she would get over it by the end of the day, but she still hasn't said a word to me. I let out a soft sigh, watching Stass and Julie talk up ahead, Julie had promised to get Stassie in a better mood before I drove her back home.
Our footsteps echoed against walls as we went through the alleyway, It was clear that Stass wanted to get home fast. Why else would we be going the quick way? It was probably her mother again; I'm always hearing Stass blabbering on about how she can't do something because of her mother. I don't get it. Her mother doesn't even let her have sleepovers with Julie (Julie told me that of course) which is a normal thing! The worst thing is the way her confidence disappears after a mention of her mother...It's like she's scared, and I fucking hate that.
I shove my hands in my pocket, trying to wipe the irritated look of annoyance off my face as I kick the nearest rock to me. Why am I so upset I may have seriously upset her..? It's not my problem...
My eyes narrow as I stare down at the dirt-filled ground, popping my earplugs in as I zone out. I stay silent as I follow the girls, my eyes looking around almost frantically for any dangers or anyone I know. If Kobe or any of that lot saw me hanging with these two I know there's a chance they won't be safe.
We walk around for 5 minutes until we get to Julie's house, I stand behind Stass, looking down at her subtly before looking back up.
"Bye, you two! Be safe!" I heard Julie say after me and Stass gave her a wave goodbye. I catch Julie's eyes catch mine and I give her a small nod, a nod of reassurance that Stassie will be alright. I and Julie don't have a lot in common but caring for Stassie is a joint feeling.
It was silence for a while as me and Stassie walked to my bike. I cleared my throat quietly.
"...I'm sorry sunshine...I really am..." I say quietly, as we stand beside my bike. I looked down at her, staring into the large blue voids she had called eyes. She was so gorgeous it would make any man fall in love.
She stared at me blankly for a moment before her eyes avoided my gaze. Does she not know what she's doing to me? I don't get why she can hold such grudges...
"Stass," I mumbled, my anger growing slowly as I grabbed her chin. "Stassie, please... I can make it up to you? How about I take you home so you don't have to walk? Would we be fine?" I say in a soft but frantic voice, I'm just so desperate for her to forgive me already. She looks up at me once more and sighs.
"I'm just a bit annoyed Saint calm down...but a ride would be nice," I hear her say in a cheeky tone and a grin. I gently tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, smiling with relief she'd forgiven me.
"So, I'll finally find out where the infamous sunshine lives, eh?" I say, awkwardly trying to bring back my usual playful self. She sighs, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm actually staying at my dad's for this week," I tilt my head, divorced parents? Huh, that's one thing I and this beautiful specimen share. I give her a nod as she tells me the address and I hop on my Maxi scooter (which is a terrible name for my beast of a motorbike).
I turn to Stass, waiting for her approval before gently grabbing her by the waist and propping her behind me.
"You know what to do?" I ask, just to be safe. I had ridden her here from my house so she's been on this but I don't like taking risks with her. Talking about risks I haven't been getting messages from Kobe or any of his little followers yet.
She sighed, rolling her eyes as a smile went across her face. "Of course dumbass! I haven't forgotten," she said. I keep a close eye on her.

I watch as she crosses her arms and I can't help but snicker at the action. Like always I predicted her movement, God it was adorable.
I stare straight ahead, trying to ignore any thoughts and concentrate on the road. My hands reached for the rough material of the handles, angelic touches going around my waist and back as I felt Stassie lean against me.
"Stassie..." I mumble softly before I decide to start the engine.
I wait until I hear a soft "Hmm?"
I clear my throat quietly, "have you ever been in love before?"
Silence
The only sounds around us are the distant cars and the crickets.
I feel a soft tug on my shirt. "No," I hear her say, her voice barely above a whisper as she holds onto me from behind.
I gave her my spare helmet and that was it. A long, almost peaceful journey to where she considered home starting.

With my bike, it didn't take that long to get there. I stopped outside her house, my hand instinctively going to her thigh as I looked behind me at her. I watch as her face goes a shade of pink as she quietly nods, looking up at me once more with her blue eyes. I can't ever have a break when I'm looking at those stunning things.
I stand and of course help her down, my hand going to the small of her back as I quietly walk her to her door.
"You don't have to watch me enter my home you know..." I hear her mumble as my eyes scan the area for any obvious threats.
"I know sunshine," I say simply, not giving her any room to argue.
We didn't even knock before a scruffy man opened the door with a bright smile. He had brown eyes and short grey hair along with round glasses much like Stassie herself.
"Stassie!" Was all he said as he hugged her.
Wow...this is awkward...
