A/N; Last (or before last, we'll see in a few hours heheh) chapter until next week.
Third (or fourth¿) disclaimer: it also contains inspiration from Like a Fire I Will Burn - A Leo Valdez Story by Jackman2357 (PS; Mate, I love your writing) simply because it has great ideas and concepts and is another little gem from here on Wattpad that is just getting started. (It may not show here, but I promise it will show in the next few chapters).

Pre-context; this chapter is a little more focused on Piper and Jason.

Once Leo left, Jason and Piper sighed with relief. There was even sweat on the brow of Jupiter's son.
"Do you think he realized we were talking about his birthday?" he asks Piper, who gives a little grimace.
"Maybe. Not if we got lucky." She replies, making sure Leo is far away before turning to look at Jason. "Anyway, we should hurry. His birthday is July 7th and we're on June 30th."
Jason nods, thoughtfully. "Okay, for the moment we have the idea of a surprise party hosted by Hermes and Apollo's cabins. Nyssa is okay with us having it at Hephaestus' cabin, but Leo might prefer that we have the party at bunker 9..."
Piper raises an eyebrow, letting out a chuckle. "Do you think Leo (or any of Hephaestus' children) would like us to have a party in their workshop, where they have all their projects?"
"Good point."
It's campfire night after dinner, so all the campers gather around the campfire. The fire is vibrant and warm, radiating life even though it can destroy. The fire-
"Wait. Where's Leo?" Jason asks, confused.
Piper looks around and shrugs. "I don't know, Jase, but we should leave him alone. He didn't look too good."
Jason nods, but Piper's words don't ease his concern.
As the campfire progresses, he feels more and more guilty for not including Leo. They hadn't seen him for three days, and when they do, all they do is push him away? That leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
He has enough, so he gets up and sneaks through the forest to bunker 9. The entrance is semi-open, so he has no trouble getting through.
As he goes deeper, he has a bad feeling growing in his stomach. He arrives at Leo's most important project; the reconstruction of Festus. He looks at it for a few seconds when he notices what is on the other side, and has to do his best not to scream.
Leo is lying on the floor, passed out, with his eyebrows drawn together and his eyes closed. His brown skin is pale, and his hair is tangled and unkempt. But that's not the worst of it; the worst of it is that he has a knife in his hand and his shirt is stained at the sleeves, as his wrists are bleeding. The blood is forming a big puddle.
Jason doesn't hesitate for a second and lifts Leo in his arms, not caring if Leo's blood stains him, and runs off to the infirmary.

A/N; Short, yes, but now in a short while I'll get the next part out because I have free time and lots of inspiration.
