"Good luck." Esme told Bella encouragingly.

(Everybody leaves the room)

(As Charlie walks up to the house, Carlisle opens the door)

"Hello, Charlie." Carlisle said calmly.

"Where's Bella?" Charlie asked, looking around the home.

(Carlisle motions for Charlie to come inside and he takes Charlie to Bella, she's sat on the couch with Edward, Josie and Rosalie to their side.)

"Bella? Josie?" Charlie said looking towards his two daughters.

The other Cullen's plus Leah and Seth Clearwater were surrounding the room. Seth and Leah each holding their imprints.

Emmett held his goddaughter Hope with Alice hovering beside him. Caroline was beside her godchildren the twins with Jasper who was chosen as godfather.

"Hi, Dad." Bella said.

"Are you okay?" Charlie asked in concern. He really didn't know what to think.

"Never better. Healthy as a horse." Bella admitted freely.

"You don't turn into an animal, too, do you?" Charlie asked. Wondering if she was like Jacob.

(Bella smiles and shakes her head)

"No. That's not me. That's more Josie's thing." Bella said honestly.

Charlie whips his head towards his youngest daughter who shows him her yellow eyes and fangs.

"I'm a wolf, like Jacob, Seth, and Leah." Josie answered honestly.

Charlie shakes his head in disbelief. He didn't know what was real or what was a lie anymore.

"She wishes she was that awesome." Jacob said cockily.

"Let's give them some privacy." Edward told the other.

(Edward, Carlisle, the rest of the Cullen coven, Seth, Leah, Josie, and Jacob leave the room)

(After the others leave the room, Charlie sits next to Bella on the couch)

"Uh, Jake said that this... This was necessary. What does that mean?" Charlie asked after he gave his youngest a hug, she promised that she'd answer his questions later, right now he needed to be focused on his oldest daughter.

"I really think it would be better..." Bella said before her father cut her off mid sentence.

"I wanna know what happened to you." Charlie said. Hoping to understand what was going on in his daughters' lives. He felt so out of his depths with all this new knowledge he didn't know what to do with.

"I can't tell you." Bella said with a frown. Not wanting him to know for his own safety.

"I think I deserve an explanation." Charlie said with a frown. This was his daughter's life for heavens sake. He wanted to know so he could talk to her better. Understand her more.

"You do. But if you really need one, I can't stay here." Bella said to him.

"Oh, come on! No! No more going away!" Charlie denied. Not wanting to experience losing her like he thought he would. Not even for a minute.

"Dad, you're just gonna have to trust that for whatever reason, I'm all right. I'm more than all right. Can you live with that?" Bella asked seriously.

"Can I live with that? Well, I don't know, Bella. I mean, I just watched a kid I've known his entire life turn into a very large dog. My daughter looks like my daughter. But doesn't. And apparently my other daughter can also turn into a big dog? Wolf as well and I didn't know about it. What other secrets have you girls been keeping from me?" Charlie asked. He felt out of place in his eldest daughter's life. He knew his youngest would give him answers if he asked for them, but his eldest did not seem to want to give him anything besides she was fine.

"Can you please just believe that I'll tell you anything that you need to know?" Bella asked of her father.

"And I don't need to know this?" Charlie asked in a bit of disbelief.

"No. Really, you don't." Bella told him. He didn't need to know of the things that go bump in the night.

"Well... Not gonna lose you again. I can't." Charlie said. He didn't want to suffer that pain. The pain of losing a daughter.

"Then you won't. I promise." Bella promised her father.

(Charlie hugs Bella)

"I missed you, Bells. So much." Charlie whispered into her ear.

"I missed you too, Dad." Bella said to the man.

(As Bella and Charlie are hugging, Edward walks into the room with Renesmee)

"Charlie. This is Renesmee." Edward said introducing the baby to her other grandfather.

"Your niece?" Charlie questioned.

"Our daughter." Edward corrected.

"Right. The adoption." Charlie nodded. Though he wondered how an adoption could go by so quickly. Normally it would take months to get approved for that and Edward and Bella were just out of high school and married, with no jobs so that would have been difficult for them to get approved.

(Charlie looks at Renesmee for a moment)

"Renee-semee? She's got your eyes, Bella. Need to know, I guess." Charlie said trying to pronounce her name right. Then he noticed how much the girl looked like the two, but that couldn't be possible. He still voiced his thoughts though.

(Bella nods her head and smiles)

(As they watch Charlie drive off)

...

"Well done, Bella. Never seen a newborn show that kind of restraint." Jasper commented. It was true, he'd been around multiple newborns and he'd never seen one react or have the amount of control that Bella did.

"I'm not sure she is a newborn. She's so tame." Emmett said looking at Bella with a raised eyebrow. Her control is something he didn't think he's ever seen in anyone besides Carlisle. I mean, the man worked in a hospital for god's sake.

"Emmett, don't antagonize her. She's the strongest one in the house." Edward said with a smile.

"Please." Emmett scoffed, as if that very notion was unimaginable to him.

Caroline shook her head with a snort. Oh, she loved her mate, but sometimes he could be a little too cocky for his own good.

"I wouldn't say the strongest. Don't forget that Josie is a hybrid." Rosalie said.

"Right, second strongest." Edward said to Emmett.

(This leads to an arm wrestling match in the woods between Bella and Emmett)

"Don't hurt yourself, Emmett." Edward said with a smirk on his face. Knowing what his mate was capable of.

(Bella and Emmett get into position)

"All right. On 3. 3!" Jasper said.

(Bella beats Emmett easily and everyone claps, Bella turns to Edward)

"Did you see that?" Bella asked very excitedly. Like a little kid in a candy store. Josie mused.

(Bella then punches the rock nearby making it break and crumble, showing off her new found strength)

(After her wrestling match with Emmett, Bella feels the sun coming up in the woods, she steps into the sunlight which makes her skin sparkle)
