a brighter view

ten in the morning came faster than y/n imagined, she slowly dragged her tired body to the entrace and looked around. saeyori, hyun-yi and seung-gwon stood their doing the small exercise as they waited for her. she watched in silence, pursing her lips to stop from laughing before coughing to get their attention when they finished.

saeroyi looked over and hummed a bit, "I'm glad you're here. first, we should start cleaning up snd then we do food prep. we won't do much until the second month but we will practice with these. " he showed the box of toy food to express what they'll practice. her eyes scanned the toys before looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

"do they change color when they touch water? " the man continued on with his preparation, ignoring her questions because it was true. she shook her head as she washed her hands in the kitchen and putting on a spare apron.

saeroyi watched from the corner of his eye as she tied the straps around her waist, taking notice as  her figure was slightly enhanced for a moment before the apron was loosened. his eyes glanced upwards to see the teasing smile on her lips and a gleam of mischeif in her eyes before she looked away towards the toy. he coughed lightly, walking towards her as he lifted his sleeves.

"so what experiences do you have?"

she rubbed her hands together as she tapped her chin lightly, "well i can speak english for one and i've had experience servicing customers as a waitress and cashier from part-time jobs."

as she continued on, saeroyi grabbed a few gloves and cleaning supplies. "then you shouldn't find anything difficult for now." he handed her the broom and dustpan, "we'll start with the cleaning. a simple sweap throughout the place and outside. when you're done, seung-gwon will mop as hyun-yi and i wipe the tables."

her brown eyes stared at the broom then towards his face without any emotion for a moment," huh.."

she grabbed the broom and immediately started her sweaping. as she did so, the man watched as she did so without a word for a moment. his eyes strailed over the stance she had to sweap over the room before going on about his buisness when he was pleased with what he saw. the four workers did their morning cleaning.

the dead silence besides the sounds of cleaning making it's way through was a bit draining, but the entire placed looked as clean as it did the night before she entered. as they all came to a stop, hyun-yi nodded his head with a smile.

"yeah.. she cleans better than seung-kwon."

the said man glared over to the other, punching his shoulder harshly and causing small tussle. y/n covered her mouth as she held in a laugh at the sight of the two fighting while saeroyi rubbed his eye in second hand embarrassment. he coughed, making the two stop and go on to their jobs of prep for things that needed to sit for a while.

dark brown clashed with the same shade before saeroyi looked her over. y/n, feeling the need to tease, slowly turned her body around to let him get a closer and more detailed look.

saeroyi cursed slightly in the back of his mind, but shaking his head at her. "alright alright." the ghost of a smile sperad over his lips, making hers widen as she spoke up. " did you like what you saw?" he stayed silent, giving no response to her question.  "let's begin with the cooking."

he walked over to the small table with the toy and a bottle of water waiting for them. "now it may seem simple. you cook  until it looks done, but i'm going to test how you prepare the food as well. " her face scrunched as she looked between him and the toy silently. "mr park.. this is a toy." he looked down at the table and blinked to himself. "right."

he stayed silent and shook his haed. "that's not the point." his quick response made her laugh a bit before she took a seat at the table with a smile at the toy. she looked at the bottles, feeling each and humming. "one is freezing cold while the other feels really warm. i assume that is to change the temperatures." she received a simple nod before taking out the fish, it was a very dark blue despite the packaging having a light blue picture on it.
