"so why would a pub be the place you'd work in when you just moved here?" an interview is what she was immediately thrown in after they sat down. "well, the ones i applied to said the company has a policy where a person must live here two weeks before they can officially work."
{idk i really just put that into perspective of colleges where i live ;p]
saeroyi nodded as she spoke, taking in her mannerisms and small ticks. she leaned on her elbows while her arms were tucked inwards towards her body. her hair trailed down her back towards the sides [it's a lace for right now] as the black outfit she was wearing seemed to enhance her curves.
"how long have you been living here?" "three weeks. the previous two i spent trying to contact my grandmother, filling out resumes and going to government facilities for my citizenship and other necessities." his eyes widened a bit and he spoke again, "wow. you had everything prepared."
"i suppose you could say that. i've always had to be prepared. " the silence that came after was a bit loud, but the two gave each other a nod of understanding. "you're hired."
a record scratch went off in her brain, "what?" saeroyi fixed his posture, following hers unknowingly. "you're hired. you're responsible, seem to be persistent and you look like you'd be good with customer service. " "is the last part because i'm black or from my freindliness?'
the man was too stunned to answer until a small laugh escaped her glossed lips. had he been staring? "don't worry, i'm only kidding. i make those jokes with my family and a few friends, so please prepare yourself." saeroyi shook his head lightly as seung-gwon brought her dessert over.
"also, are you sure i should be eating this for free? normally you hire the person and then give them free food after a few weeks." her eyes stared into what saeyori believed was his soul, but he was trained for those moments.
"perhaps i'm in a good mood." her expression changed into a surprised one before a smile escaped again. gosh were her smiles' always this bright or is he in need of an eye exam? "then i'll make sure to be on my best behavior as i work, boss."
saeroyi's eyebrows furrowed a bit, "i thought i said-" he was interrupted by the sight of one of the customer's being rude to seung-gwon. he stood quickly, stopping his employee and pressing the call button on the table. "Press the bell. Don't call him like that."
'I think i just felt a tear drop run down my leg..'
Obviously the drunkard didn't have a problem with causing more problems as his friend tried to calm him down. y'n watched the interation and how saeroyi seemed to handle the situation. she stayed sat though because obviously she ain't gon' get between two men fighting.
That was until that weak looking punch came through and the hot man she was lookin at fell n hit his head after seung-gwon pushed him out the way. But on all, we respect mr. choi for his effort. she slowly eased herself towards saeroyi and genlty helped him up. "it would stupid to ask if you were okay, so i'll go ask for some ice."
he watched her wak away as the situation seemed to rise, causing seung-gwon to retaliate way above what everyone was expecting. as she came back, her eyes widened big time at seung-gwon being such a hottie before hyun-yi arrived and made him snap out of it.
a scoff was heard, "what a psychopath" after seong-gwon asked for forgiveness. which is a bit too soon for that becuase he basically went insane and blacked out. but the chimes of the doors opoening to reveal police officers when hyun-yi was extremly fast.
as if it was already premeditated before the fight.

"what do you mean we should just sit here and wait? what if they both go to jail?" hyun-yi stared at the woman blankly, shaking his head. "don't worry, our pub will only get a suspension for a bit. when we reopen, it'll good as new and perhaps better."
"you have a point, but it's horrible." hyun-yi placed a hand over his heart, smiling in pain. "ah, thank you so much." the two were interrupted by saeroyi walking back in with an angry expression. seung-gwon must've been still at the station.
y/n walked over to him quickly with hyun-yi at her backside, "well what did they say? are you closed forever? for six months?" his black irises stared into her dark brown ones before he hummed. "we'll be closed for two months. your training will be in that duration."
he nodded his head, walking to the kitchen past the two as they looked at him in confusion on why he seemed so calm for something that was obviously upsettinig. hyun-yi, readinig the room, turned towards the woman beside him.
"you should get home since it's late. i'll drop you off... i-if you don't mind!" saeroyi stopped walking, looking back between the two as he saw them smiling widely. he wanted to interject, but was just relieved she'd get home.
plus, he'll be spending enough time with her while she trains at the shop anyway. "kim y/n."
her head turned immediately, watching the man face her and bow in respect. "be here at 10 am. we'll be training all day." hyun-yi blinked owlishly because this was weird behavior from his friend.
y/n smiled, nodding her head as she collected her things and the to-go tray of dessert with her. "i will see you then, park saeroyi."
hyun-yi stood there in confusion, but felt flushed since they were basically flirting with each other.
'AM I THE ONLY ONE NOTICING THIS?' saeroyi looked back, "hyun-yi, hurry up and drop her off. you still have dishes and cleaning to help with."the poor hyun-yi sighed, "yes boss" before dropping his new friend off home so he could return to work.
