Jungkook reached at his mansion and went upstairs to his daughter's room

He opened her room door and saw her watching an animation movie on the T.V

She was sitting on her bed with a soft blanket wrapped around her fragile body

She was drinking cranberry juice as her lips were tainted red like a cherry

She still didn't notice her father as her full focus was on the T.V

Jungkook:"princess",he called out his cute daughter in the softest tone possible

As soon as she saw him standing near her room's door she ran towards him and hugged her father

Jungkook:"I'm sorry princess",
He sincerely apologised to her

Aera:"for what,appa",she asked him

Jungkook:"For not coming to the PTM with you"

Aera:"Appa it's okay, I'm not angry with you"

Jungkook:"Really, baby",he asked his daughter

Aera:"Yes, appa, I was just a little sad before because all the kids at my school came with their mother and father both but I only came with my mother",she explained

Jungkook:"ohh I'm really sorry babygirl", he said hugging her

Aera:"it's okay appa",she said snuggling into his neck

Jungkook kissed her forehead letting his lips linger for a while

Jungkook:"babygirl, would you like to come to the office with appa today"

Aera:"yes appa", she said jumping into his arms and he picked her up quickly

Jungkook"okayyy, calm down my kitten",he said laughing

Jungkook was working on his laptop while Aera was sitting on his lap hugging his waist, admiring the view outside the window

Jungkook was time to time looking at her and caressing her back

Jungkook:"princess, are you hungry", he softly asked his daughter

Aera:"No, appa", she said

Jungkook:"little one you haven't ate anything since afternoon"

Aera:"appa I already drank juice at home"

Jungkook:"but it's not food baby, okay atleast let me get you some chocolate cookies is that okay", he tried to convince his daughter

Aera:"okay, appa"

Jungkook called his secretary to his cabin

Jungkook:"Miss yena, get some chocolate cookies to my cabin",he said in a cold tone

He didn't wanted to ask about the file he gave her to finish infront of aera because he knows she hasn't completed it yet and he will definitely get angry at her

Yena:"Ok sir",she said and went out of his cabin

Aera:"appa, you know goldfish has a memory span of only 3 seconds",she said munching on her cookies

Jungkook was listening to her cute ramblings and laughing time to time at how smart and creative his daughter is.

Jungkook:"really",he said being amused

Aera:"yes, appa",she said nodding

Jungkook:"my little baby you're so smart",he said kissing her cheeks

Aera:"I know that appa", she said with a straight face munching on her cookies cutely

Making Jungkook laugh again

Jungkook:"Aera it's 9pm we should go to home now or eomma will be angry on us",he tried to convince his daughter for the third time

Aera:"Appa, just one last time she said climbing on to the slide again", she said the same thing for the third time

Jungkook:"okay, remember this is the last time"

Aera slides down as Jungkook catches her securely in his arms

Jungkook:"Now let's go",he said as aera just nodded

Yuqi:"why did you both came so early I thought you both were going to sleep there today",she said mocking them

Jungkook:"yuqi we were just playing in the garden",he tried to save his daughter and himself

Yuqi:"for this long"

Jungkook:"No, actually I had a lot of work today so I was going to be late anyway so to reduce the stress we went to the garden"

Yuqi:"Jungkook now you have even started to lie to me"

Jungkook:"what are you saying?"

Yuqi:"Jungkook, don't act innocent, I called your secratary and she told me that you left the office at 7pm only"

Aera:"eomma don't scold appa"

Yuqi:"little one you don't have to worry go and sit in your room"

Aera nodded with a pout on her face

Jungkook let her on her feets as she walked away

Yuqi glared at Jungkook

But Jungkook glared at her back

She unintentionally looked down

He took a step forward as she stepped backwards

This went on until yuqi felt the wall at her back she was about to escape from the side when Jungkook pinned her to the wall again giving her chills, her face was red with shyness but she still managed to look up at him

Yuqi was staring at Jungkook in fear

While Jungkook was literally glaring at her with his dark orbs

This staring compitition came to an end when Jungkook kissed yuqi on the lips

???:"yay! Eomma and Appa are friends again"

Their breath hitched and eyes widened as Jungkook broke the kiss

They saw Aera jumping on the couch

Yuqi:"princess I told you not to get out of the room"

Aera:"but, I was worried that you both will fight with eachother, but I was wrong, appa kissed you that means he still loves you",she said innocently

Yuqi's face was red again

Jungkook:"yes baby appa loves your eomma, but you know whom appa loves more?",he said as he laughed a bit seeing yuqi

Aera:"who?",she asked with a pout

Jungkook:"you",he said as he kissed her pout

Yuqi smiled looking at her husband and daughter

Yuqi pov
"I'm so lucky to have a husband like Jungkook, and a daughter like Aera
I don't want to lose them, never"

Jungkook was continuously patting Aera's back and caressing her hairs to get her to sleep

Her head was on his lap and her legs were resting on the pillow he kept there

Meanwhile, Yuqi came out of the bathroom and quietly started drying her hairs trying not to disturb Aera

She dried her hairs and laid beside them and slept within a minute being tired

After half an hour aera finally slept Jungkook settled her on the bed covering her with a blanket

He also turned the AC off so that aera doesn't feel cold at night

He kissed her forehead and slept peacefully
