I returned to Olamoore with Elm, Ara, and the council. Our falcons set down before we dismount with relief.
We walk on together.
"For a first Summit I think it went well" Elm thought out loud. "Aside from the Queen Consort being cuffed. Don't think I didn't see that Rowan"
We didn't break stride as we walked to the lifts, my brothers tone was one of concern, and he had a right to be. Andromeda was a liability right now and should not be in attendance of the other kingdoms. Tonight would be painful, having to keep her fire suppressed. I would ask her to be cuffed, for a fail safe, but I had a feeling my Mate wouldn't be so accommodating of my order.
"I apologise for that. I don't think anyone else saw it. We tried to be discreet. Andromeda will be fine in a couple of weeks, it is the pregnancy and not her. The hormones, and then the magic from the baby, this is not a normal pregnancy Elm"
"A couple of weeks is a long time Rowan, a very long time when it comes to a powerful fire fairy that is losing control of her magic" he reminded me with a warning.
I came to an abrupt stop, and instinctively grabbed his forearm to have him do the same. Both Elm and Ara stopped instantly beside me. "I don't need your advice Brother. I will see to it that she is not a danger"
"Have Bell stay with her" Ara suggested. "She might cool her enough to get through these weeks"
I nodded, and released Elms arm, looking to Ara with a question I had forgotten to ask earlier "who else at that round table is a danger to Olamoore"
Ara's voice filled with seriousness as he revealed "King Caspian. His aura is not one we should ignore, and then there's..."
Ara gulped, hesitant to reveal another.
"Spit it out Ara" Elm asked.
Ara looked up to us both with the same eyes as his sister, as green as the tree canopy surrounding us, and he regretfully confessed "Andromeda"

I was met with silence when I stepped out onto the family branch. An eerie sound when one's Mate is a fire fairy, and one whom is particularly livid with her.A melodic sound of laugher then carried up the hall, and I walked on, flanked by my guards. The sound of my child laughing, it never got old, and today it was mixed with the laughter of Eris, a more devious laugh if one had to describe it.
I'm not sure what I expected when I turned the corner to the nursery, but I stopped the instant my eyes landed on Sycamore. He was wearing a pink dress with white frills around its neck. It was a size too big, being one of Jupiters that she discarded for being uncomfortable. I covered my mouth with my hand as laughter crept up my throat. His usual slicked back hair was brushed into one straight licked pigtail at the centre of his head. He looked like ... my goodness I don't even know what he looked like, but it was horrifyingly cute, and my stomach ached with the laughter that I held in.
"Hi Mama" Jupiter called, seeing me stood in the doorway. "Do you want to attend the feast" she asked, gesturing to the little round table laid with cakes and tea. "It's fresh"
Sycamore turned to see me, and only then did I see the bright pink blush on his cheeks, and the white power generously applied to his already pale skin. He looked like a century old female gremlin, one whom applied her makeup by darkness in a carriage with three wheels on a cobbled street.
"Oh Sycamore" I whispered pitifully, coming over and bending at his side. I took his pointy chin into my hand and softly turned it side to side so that I could assess the horror. "What has become of you"
