"Andromeda ...Andromeda" came a squeaky voice I longed to kill.
This time however I was up and running to the location of the little devil, because he should be with my mate. Why was he here and searching me out?! The one person who almost killed him.
Jay had him at the lift when I reached it "Andromeda you must come"
I took him from Jay and excused us, frog marching him to the drawing room and shutting the door for privacy. Nobody could know the intimate details of Hazel or Cereus, it would still do irreparable damage to our kingdom if it were known. Only the council, with their blood Oath to the Queen Rowan could know.
"Where is she?!" I demanded.
He hid behind a table "don't kill me" he begged.
"Just tell me Sycamore. Where is my wife?!"
"Queen Rowan is in trouble. Cereus has taken her down with some kind of immobilising magic. I've not seen it before, but it certainly took out Rowan pretty quickly. She didn't even have time to react"
"Cereus is strong?!"Leda asked, sneaking in and shutting the door quietly.
"Leda please" I asked "don't get involved. I will go and find her and bring her home"
Leda shook her head and folded her arms. "Is she?!" She asked Sycamore, ignoring me. "What are we looking at here fight wise"
"She is not as strong as your Mother that is for sure. The half blood renders her a lot less powerful. But she has knowledge of magic, and I am certain can create some impressive substitutes for her own magic to make her appear stronger"
"Let us go" Leda said matter of factly.
"Leda" I argued "no. You must not"
With all the commotion it wasn't two seconds before we were joined by Willow and Jupiter.
"What is wrong" Willow asked Sycamore "where is my Neice ... and where is Hazel"
"Mama?!" Jupiter asked. "What is occurring. I should have been told"
"I apologise my darling daughter. Sycamore has only just this minute returned, your Mother has been paralysed by some magic potion, and has been taken by Cereus"
"Where" Jupiter asked.
"Stone cottage ... Hazels" Sycamore returned.
Willow fret "I'm coming. I have to help and do something. I feel useless"
"No" I declined "you stay here with Jupiter. May I remind you too, that Demelza is not to know about Hazel. Nobody can know, nobody outside of this room"
Willow nodded "of course. I know that Andromeda.Is Hazel also immobilised?!" She asked Sycamore.
"I believe she mentioned she had Hazel and a human girl" Sycamore Squeaked.
"A human girl?!" Leda asked anxiously "Agni" she whispered.
"Who's Agni" I asked her, sensing her upset.
"Our best friend and neighbour" Jupiter replied instead.
"I am going" Leda commanded.
The room went quiet. I couldn't speak, my want to stop her was silenced. Words wouldn't come.
"Leda" Jupiter accused "Not for personal gain" she warned.
Leda narrowed her eyes at her sister "Tell me you wouldn't to save Emerald and the future you've witnessed with her"
Jupiter took a deep breath, and nodded "very well"
