Chapter 3

-Olivia's POV-

Today Noah is turning two, and everything's going good, other than me not speaking to elliot. I retired and opened a daycare. I haven't seen him in a year and a half.

FLASHBACK

"We aren't getting back together Elliot." I say as I open the door, holding a sleeping Noah.

"I know. That's not what I came here for." he says as I lay Noah down on the couch.

"Okay. What is it then?" I say walking towards the kitchen.

"I'm seeing someone." he says and my heart secretly breaks. I hold back the tears and swallow the lump in my throat.

"That's great." I say offering a warm, yet fake smile. "I'm happy for you."

"I'm sorry." he says wiping away the rebel tear that made its way down my cheek. I pushed his hand away slowly.

"I think you should leave." I say, pushing him out the door.

FLASHBACK OVER

I never seen Elliot again, after that day. I quit, and moved out of my apartment. I got my own house in queens, far away from elliot, and the precinct.

I started seeing someone, his name is Brian. I don't really know if I love him, but he makes me feel wanted.

Today my baby is turning two, and I'm so proud of what she's become. We are having a small get together later, and I forgot to call everyone from the precinct. Brian's parents, sisters, brother, neices, and nephew are coming. I owe the squad some sort of visit, I haven't seen any of them other than Don in the past year and a half.

I grab Noah's hand and we walk out of the elevator.

"Where we at mommy?" Noah asks looking up at me. Before I could answer, she seen don.

"Grandpa." She yells running towards him. Everyone turns to me with wide eyes, including the cerulean blue ones that I once fell for.

"Hey honey." Don say picking up Noah, bringing a smile to my face. Don looks over at me. "hi liv."

"Hey." I say walking over to him, and the rest of the group. "hey guys."

"Liv. It's good to see you." Fin says giving me a hug.

"It's good to see you guys."I say hugging Munch. I look over at Elliot, making eye contact, then look away towards Don.

"What brings you here?" Don ask, passing Noah over to me. Noah wrapped her arms around my neck, resting her head on my shoulder.

"I came to invite you guys to dinner tonight, for Noah's birthday. All of you." I say glancing over at Elliot, then back at Don. "If you do want to come, then Don can show you guys where my house is."

"I'll be there liv." Munch says.

"Me too." Fin says walking over to his desk.

"You know I'll be there for Noah." Don says rubbing Noah's back and kissing my forehead.

"I'll see you guys later." I say looking at them all. I look at Elliot last, I stare for longer then necessary. After a few minutes I look away. I walk away, having the feelings come back up, feeling everything I've ever felt for him. Love, passion, anger, hate, forgiveness.

-5:00-

"Brian, I'm having some people over for the dinner." I say walking into the living room.

"Who?" He asks taking a sip of his beer. I hate it when he drinks, he so mean.

"People from my old job. Do you have to drink?" I ask putting Noah down by her toys and walking away towards the kitchen.
